We had a truly wonderful time at Plettenberg View. The guesthouse was recommended to us, and it lived up to all our expectations. We especially appreciated our hosts Cherry and Andrew. They were both very friendly and helpful and assisted us with any questions or concerns. Breakfast was freshly prepared every day and was delicious. A highlight of the guesthouse was the beautiful view. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was a fantastic experience, and we really enjoyed our stay. We have absolutely no complaints about the accommodation and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Many thanks again to Cherry and Andrew for being such wonderful hosts!

Our hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with access to the swimming pool and balcony with lovely views. The shared living room was pleasant, and the house had plenty of tasteful art. Breakfast was very good.

Great staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, well located to everything but also quiet for sleeping, the view is spectacular. Really appreciated how much info the hosts provided before and during our stay about things to do and places to eat.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Location was nice, only a short taxi drive but the hosts very helpful in arranging a taxi. We had a very nice stay.

Beautiful property, exquisite views. Our hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful and a joy to chat to. Our room was modern, spotless and had everything we could have possibly required. Breakfast was superb, with a wide choice; continental, cooked. Andrew had previously Whatsapped a list of restaurants and Cherry gave recommendations as to where I could shop. Our 1 regret was that we couldn't stay for longer! Thank you Andrew & Cherry and every good wish to you both.

The view was incredible from all rooms and the breakfast room even more outstanding. Cherry and Andrew were amazing as hosts and organised our taxis and gave many links to places to go than I’d even found. Through throughput

Plettenberg View has a great view from the terraces to the sea and Robberg Island (especially from the upper terrace). The hosts were very friendly and prepared delicious breakfast.

We loved everything about our stay. Andrew and Cherry (A&C) are wonderful, caring, loving hosts. I enjoyed the gluten-free french toast in the morning. Thank you. The view is fantastic. A&C suggested really good restaurants. Unfortunately, we were only able to try two due to time constraints. Amelia’s and Emily Moon are a must visit and must book way in advance. Included a sunset view of Emily Moon in the photos. Next time, we’ll try the others - The Fat Fish and Enrico’s. A&C also suggested Cathedral Rock which could only be visited during the low tide. It was a short hike and definitely worth a visit.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful guesthouse, with very comfortable rooms and incredible views over the bay. The hosts, Cherry and Andrew, really make this place special. They are exceptionally warm and attentive, going above and beyond to help with restaurant bookings and local tips to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Their genuine kindness and local knowledge really made us feel right at home. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight—delicious, freshly made, and served on a lovely terrace. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Perfect hosts in a beautiful house with stunning views on the bay. Cherry and Andrew help us with tour planning and restaurant and bar recommendations and made our stay a very good one.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the guesthouse in Plettenberg! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Cherry and Andrew, who truly made our visit exceptional. They were incredibly attentive and supported us with everything we needed – from booking restaurants, even managing to secure us a table at a fully booked place, to giving us fantastic tips about the area. Their local knowledge and genuine kindness made every day of our stay even better. The breakfast was delicious, beautifully prepared each morning, and enjoying it with a stunning view of the beach was a real highlight. We felt completely at home and would love to return anytime.

Fantastic hosts - friendly & extremely helpful. Very comfortable- a home from home. Great location with lovely views. Breakfasts were cooked fresh every morning & served on a lovely terrace. A great recommendation from hosts for a driver, Gerry, for restaurant runs. Everything was spot on and would highly recommend.
