“Little gem”
The four of us had a lovely two-night stay at Denise’s place. The space was comfortably sized for our group and well equipped. We especially loved the outdoor fireplace, with wood included, and the very comfortable chairs on the terrace. Although there was no air conditioning, there was a constant, pleasant breeze that kept the space comfortable. We enjoyed using the kayaks. We noticed that there is a fishing rod available as well. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and supper. Denise was attentive to our needs without being intrusive, which we really appreciated. We also loved the close proximity (about 5 km) to the farm store, Thyme and Again, where we picked up morning cappuccinos and all the food we needed during our stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at moonriver! 😍 felt very comfortable and welcome! Magnificent view over the river, braai area, kayaks & fishing rod available at the property. Hosts and staff very nice and supportive! Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Denise is a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble. She even sent some items we left behind to us at another address in South Africa , via courier. Lovely self catering property and very peaceful.

Superb location. Great views from our accommodation. Modern but not ott fittings and furnishings. The gardener caught 3 nice spotted grunters from the bank just outside our unit on our day of departure. Safe and secure. Very comfortable and plenty of room. Fast wifi. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Plett.

The loft was the perfect place for us and our two kids. The braai area perfect. As you braai you overlook the river and it's spectacular at sunset. Acees to kayaks, a lovely garden and close to town. Wonderful stay

“Peaceful getaway”
Loved the clean comfortable Cottage, area was good, everything you needed was there, the grounds man was very polite and very helpful and hardworking. Loved the fact that the canoos was available to use and the fishing rod as well.

“Easily accessible, private and comfortable holiday spot.”
Great location on the river. Nice and private with braai facilities. Nice little river walk also easily accessible. Free use of canoes also a plus.
