“Wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back!”
Absolutely everything was perfect! All the special little touches didn’t go unnoticed. Such a beautiful setting, a warm and cosy place, a fire going for us as we arrived late. Perfect and safe area for the fur child to explore.

We would have appreciated a prior warning about the baboons around the area that paid us a visit late Saturday afternoon! Unaware of their existence, we let our dog roam around the dwelling, and fortunately when the baboons came to visit, she was inside the cabin. If she had been out in the open, and in the clearing where they appeared, it would have been a major disaster!

It was the best stay, i've ever had. Every sporty person who visited south-africa should stay overnight at this place. The gym in the woods is so special and awesome, it will only be topped by the both owners which are so lovely. They have a huge knowledge about fitness and they share it for free.

This place is just heaven! I spend one night in this lodge and i regret having booked my next stay already as i would have loved to spend more time here. From the view, to all the love the owners have put into making this place feel like you are being treated like in paradise! The owners have build a fully operational gym in the outdoors, with a lake view! The shower has a big open windows to feel like being close to nature. This was by far my best night of sleep during my whole African holiday. Thank you!

“Quaint log cabin in a pine forest”
The venue is situated in the pine forest..and it lovely. Great for an overnight stay and also fantastic for our dog who enjoyed exploring. Bed is really comfortable and the venue was warm....as it rained all night. Loved the glass box shower area.

It was really comfortable and had everything you could need except a braai area. When we asked about this the owner went out and bought a portable braai for us and then even supplied wood and blitz. We will definitely go back.

“Exceptional stay”
The view was amazing, ample space for the entire family. It was an amazing stay and the fact that there was space for the dogs, it is very difficult to find pet friendly places and this place is a gem.
