My stay at Wao Jungle was very pleasant and easy. The staff member who greeted me was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The kitchenette in the cabins were very helpful to have. The AC and wifi works great. The location is very walking-friendly.

“Well designed rooms in a pretty garden”

The room is well designed with a working kitchen and hot water throughout - sink, shower and washbasin. The garden surrounding the rooms is very pleasant and well looked after with lots of birds. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The seating area was pleasant with a nice hammock and dining table. When I requested an extra pillow and a frying pan and knife for the kitchen they were supplied very quickly.

“Budget friendly hotel in Venao”

I think it's the best value for money you can have in Playa Venao. You get a room with kitchen and nice sorroundings. It's a simple hotel - you get what you paid for, but there are a lot of benefits of this one especially. Bonus: they have another hotel at the beach - you get free access to the pool and other hotel amenities.

There was no breakfast, and this place is definitely not in the jungle. It’s on a big Tosca quarry. Should be called Wao Tosca!

I liked that it was opened and in nature and the prices per night are good compared to other hotels I researched there where they seem to not pay attention to the decoration of its surroundings or inside of their rooms. Also I thought the beach was further away but it's quite near or maybe it's my perception.

The location was fine, approx 5-7min walk to the beach, away from the many constructions currently under way. The staff Jose and Veronica were brilliant, they both speak fluent English and were so helpful. Veronica in particular is a wonderful character full of energy! Breakfast was included with a choice of Panamanian or pancakes. The self contained units are well-kitted out with refrigeration and cooking facilities. Place also has great community areas on the site to meet other travellers.

“Monumental mistake and was lied to about an available upgrade!!”

Got a different breakfast than I asked for. Only view was room acrtoss the hall. SHARED Bath was muddy and filthy before we ever got to use it. Getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom when you are 76 years old involves a long process!! Stayed here 2 times before same hotel and all was fine! Same money but got a dump this time and asked for an upgrade that I would pay for. Was told NOT AVAILABLE. Internet showed 5 available!! LONG WALK AND NO TRANSPORTATION OF ANY KIND TO THE BEACH. Literally had to call a taxi from town to enjoy the beach. DID NOT STAY SECOND NIGHT> Found a cheaper room -ON THE BEACH!!_ with ensuite bathroom. Would NEVER recommend or stay here again!!

“A slightly different type of hostel”

Nice room with fan and a/c. It had a double bed and storage/hanging space. Had a choice of 3 options for breakfast. It was extremely quiet whilst I was there so very peaceful.

It is modern place, chill vibes with lots of monkeys around. Don't expext socializing but you can have good private room 3options for a breakfast included. Very nice staff!!!

Very cool layout, good hostel vibes, very close to the beach, room was super clean+comfortable+functional, shower was nice and warm!! Breakfast in the morning is so good. Beach itself is really good for bars and meeting other people. Veronica is so lovely and made us feel super welcome (shoutout to Swell the dog too). Aircon is fabulous.

Nothing

We stayed three nights at Wao Jungle and we had a great time. We stayed in a small air-conditioned room with a shared bathroom, which overall was very good. The place is very clean and beautiful. But what we liked most was the attitude of the reception staff, especially Miguel, who took care of everything we needed and did everything to make our vacation perfect! Thank you!
