Located inside Las Baulas National Marine Park, this bright hotel offers guests free Wi-Fi and an outdoor swimming pool. It is just a 2-minute walk from Playa Grande beach. Excellent location, close to the beach and coffee shop. Dylan was fantastic and really helped us out when we needed to courier a package to the hotel. When we mentioned the lack of hot water, staff came right away to fix the issue.

“A beautiful place for a quiet retreat”
We wound up staying in a terrace room which included bedroom, bathroom, sitting area, kitchenette and patio. It was spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and large and the large shower had plenty of hot water. The kitchenette included a two-burner propane stove, small fridge, toaster oven, microwave and coffee maker so we were able to make all our breakfasts, a couple of lunches and one supper. Cleaning was every two days and very efficient and thorough. There was a nice pool with clean clear water (more a place to cool off than swim) and a pleasant garden. Staff were polite and helpful. There were three restaurants in the area (though on three days mid-week only two were open at a time. A local store offered basics at a price; for more variety you needed to go to Tamarindo -- a long drive or a short walk/water taxi away. Lots of wildlife in the area and a great beach. The area is a bit out of the way, either a benefit (for me) or a problem (for others).

The staff were amazing, very helpful and accommodating. The location is also excellent with private beach access to playa grande, you can also access tamarindo by walking and taking the ferry across the estuary outflow.

“10/10! Awesome stay”
The beach is less than a 3 min walk! You can’t beat that!! The beach is amazing, lots of waves, also calm during low tide. The hotel has relaxing environment, clean and excellent service by the staff. The 5 person Villa was perfect, lots of space, equipped kitchen, AC, big bathroom, comfy beds. All in all, the Villa was exquisite. Would definitively return and stay at a villa.

Very nice complex with good facilities. Great location, separated from Tamarindo busyness and messiness. By an inlet. Thanks to that, the very long beach/bay is not busy at all, clean, very relaxing. Watching the pelicans fishing just a few meters from me swimming was very special. There were waves but not large enough for surfing in the morning so it was fine for swimming. Our room had a fridge and was clean and nice, bathroom as well.

Very nice location. Much better than the dirty Tamarindo. It is a hidden gem, in a peninsula with nice and close nature. We have even seen monkeys on the way to the beach. Very nice pool and you have a lot of facitlities. The common area is nice for chill. Very good stay.

The grounds were pretty and well-landscaped. The staff was incredibly hospitable and helpful. Close proximity to a quiet beach. A very comfortable, boutique stay and a great value for the money. The drive in was manageable but lots of pot holes to avoid!
