We really enjoyed our stay at Casa del Torro. The hotel and pool areas were beautiful and so well looked after. There was so much thought into the set up of a small area to make it so pretty. The staff were great, helpful with everything we needed and very friendly. We spent out time just hanging by the pools and it was so nice to have that time to chill. The apartment provided everything we needed to prepare our own food and we found some great little sodas locally for dinner. Would definitely recommend this place.

Beautifully run hotel with a real relaxed resort feel. The room is comfortable and modern and the shared outdoor living and pool area feels quite special. The food is very good, and the staff very friendly.

“Amazing stay near Brasilito”

Excellent location surrounded by lovely beaches and brilliant restaurants. The room was huge and had all the facilities we needed. The pool was an added bonus. The local beaches are all lovely with plenty to do.

Wonderful location. The different areas are beautifully decorated and well kept. The breakfast is great too. The rooms are large and comfortable. Beds are comfy. The reception staff was always helpful and gave us all the information we needed. I fully recommend this place!

“Air conditioner”

The house was so beautiful and clean. Most staff were great and very kind. The location is perfect, super close to the beach and other amenities. There are two medium-sized pools, and it's a very calm and relaxing environment. It seems like it's more of an adult friendly complex because of how quiet it is, but we brought two kids, and they enjoyed their time!

“Safe and family orientated”

Can’t fault this place. It’s very family orientated. If you have WhatsApp it’s really easy to communicate with the hotel. You ask for anything and they are there within a flash. I know it’s not everyone’s forte but we were really appreciative of the fact that you can’t bring animals or smoke on the complex as I have very bad allergies. You all have your own table and chairs to sit out the front around the pool. You can even take your own food and drink on site and treat your room as your home. There is a gated entrance and you need a key fob to get in. It is extremely safe. If you like your Snorkling and scuba diving the office is literally a 5 minute walk, 2 minute drive or they collect you. The prices for these activities were reasonable. We say hump back wales swimming in the harbour too. It was such a good location.

“Clean, comfortable, accomodatng and great location”

Our stay with Casas del Toro was fantastic. Due to weather issues and airport closures were uncespectedly stuck in Costa Rica for 3 more nights than we planned. Casas del Toro was incredibly accomodating, allowing us to extend our stay and providing significant kindness at a very stressful time. The property is gated which made it feel very safe. It is a beautiful, well maintained property. We enjoyed listening to the birds and looking at the many orchids. The room was large, clean, comfortable with everything we needed. The air conditioner worked great to keep us cool. The location was minutes away from the beach and a grocery store. We drove to Potrero, Tamarindo, Brasilito and Las Catalinas with ease from the location. We were only able to enjoy the pool once due to the weather but it was lovely.

Exceptional property! The place was very clean which isn't considered as a norm in Costa Rica. The place had nice pool and overall felt newish and updated.

This was a great place to stay with our family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We arrived late (after the reception desk closed) and were given very helpful guidance on how to enter the hotel after hours. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool. Service was outstanding.

This is a great place. The rooms are large and clean. The layout is pretty and functional, the staff are kind, helpful and professional. They really care about what they are doing. The pool is a great size for families and the whole setting is peaceful except for the squawking of the parrots twice a day. There is a great lunch spot, a la Nico, 150 meters down the road.
