“Little gem apartment”

Apartment in excellent condition and very modern with all amenities. Very central location between Playa del I gkes (10 min walk) and beach at Maspalomas 5 min walk. Complex has a pool and restaurant also. Balcony gets the sun in the afternoons.

I will start my review by saying that the accommodation has the name FKK, which mistakenly gives the impression that it is associated with the possibility of nude sunbathing. The apartment is in the Las Arenas hotel, while some of the hotel rooms are offered by private owners. The hotel building is 2 stars, the hotel reception offers rooms for 1/3 the price we paid for this apartment. The hotel equipment and elevators are old, the unused roof of the hotel is marked with the inscription nude sunbathing prohibited and about 10 broken sunbeds do not allow any sunbathing. The apartment is nicely renovated, has a nicely furnished kitchen, but the stove is located in the adjacent small laundry room, so if you are comfortable cooking in a room outside the kitchen, you will be satisfied. The air conditioning unit is new, but if you want to use it, you must pour out the condensed water, as the owner warns. The main problem with the apartment, however, is the poorly installed marble shower enclosure, which is slanted, so when you shower, the water flows out onto the bathroom floor instead of the drain and spills throughout the apartment, making the apartment unusable. The owner and his wife told us on the phone that this was the first time the shower had flooded, but the mold on the walls and previous reviews here prove otherwise. We do not recommend booking

Location was perfect for everything

Excellent location, close to beach, shops, restaurants, bus stops. Quiet. Great for couples. Pool view and partial sea view. Great communications with the owner.
