Overview
Aimed at gay men, the 4-star Birdcage G ay Resort men only Lifestyle Hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from the Yumbo Centre in Playa del Inglés. Set in tropical gardens, it features a nudist-friendly outdoor pool, hot tub, hammock and spa area. You choose between deluxe rooms and suites, some with a private garden and sun loungers. All have a fan, flat-screen satellite TV and DVD player, as well as a fridge and minibar. Bathrooms come with bathrobes, slippers and free toiletries. Suites have a separate bedroom and living room with a sofa. Rooms are studio style and feature air conditioning. A varied breakfast can be enjoyed daily on the terrace. There is a stylish lounge with a fireplace, where you can relax with a book from the library or a cocktail, tea or coffee. The spa offers massages, manicures, pedicures, hair styling and more in the garden massage temples or in your room. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided and an airport shuttle service is available for an extra charge. Playa del Inglés Beach is a 10-minute walk away and the famous Maspalomas Dunes is 2 km from the complex.

Beautiful relaxing oasis in the middle of Maspalomas. We had been to Maspalomas twice previously but our first time at Birdcage. We were so happy we decided to stay here. The room (we had the pelican cage) was exceptional. Clean, with all required amenities and a private garden space. The resort itself was exceptional. Pool was great, it’s not too overcrowded as Birdcage is a smaller property. Breakfast included was exceptional, with several options to choose from a small buffet style, but if that doesn’t suit, the team will cook you breakfast from a vast selection of other options. And the team - they are exceptional. Ralf and Roland did a fantastic job, nothing was too much trouble and they took the time to check in each day and see if there was anything required.

Small. Attentive staff. Private. Secure. Discreet. Well kept and maintained. Excellent breakfast options. Close to Yumbo. Helpful staff (with arrangements and advice). Amazing bed. We had a garden suite and it was wonderful.
