Area of hotel was quiet, suite was clean. Upon arrival was told there was no pool, however, discovered on 3rd day that the 5th floor DID actually have a small pool to access. The breakfast wasn't appealing to me, but it had the staples: bread, cheese, deli meat, cereal, fruit, coffee and teas. Boiled eggs were offered first day when staff saw you seated.

This hotel was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — especially for my birthday. They had taken the time to decorate the room for the occasion, which was such a thoughtful touch and instantly made the stay feel special. The room itself was incredible: spotless, comfortable, and everything actually worked perfectly — which sadly isn’t always guaranteed these days. The TV, air conditioning, and fan all worked flawlessly, the shower was amazing, and having a fridge and a lovely terrace with mosquito netting made the whole experience even better. The safe parking was a huge bonus, the breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning, and the staff were genuinely some of the best we came across during our travels — friendly, helpful, and always smiling. This is exactly how hospitality should be done. A beautiful hotel with staff who truly care about their guests. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

We had a good time at Cielo y Mar! The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. We had a palm tree in front of our balcony, so we also had some shade, but also difficulties with the sea view. In the end it did not bother us too much. Room was made daily which is a big plus in comfort! Breakfast was ok: eggs, toast, butter, cheese, ham, jam, peanut butter, cornflakes, coffee and tea. It was suitable for the overall price. If you want to leave early for some activities keep in mind that they serve breakfast from 8. We had to skip to breakfasts because we started our day earlier. Parking in the backyard (5 Spots) or in front of the hotel on the street. Hotel is near the beaches 72 and 88. In 10 to 15 minutes you will reach the more lively part of 5th avenue with restaurants and bars. For us it was the perfect location of the hotel. All in all: good value for money and for Playa del Carmen!

Nice, clean apartments. The location is great location within walking distance of the beach , yet situated on the outskirts of the town. Good breakfast and the rooms are spacious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautifu, cleanl and spacious room, with an amazing balcony. It's a 30 minute walk from all the touristy fuss, making it a great place to relax by the sea.

The location was great for us as it is outside the busy town (it is about 20 min walk) so quiet at night. We loved our room as it was very big and had a great view. We also appreciated the filter coffee in the room.

Beautiful room with small kitchen area, fridge and balcony. Great garden view. Very nice staff. Good breakfast included. Good location. Parking available in the courtyard or just outside on the streets (which is still safe).

A great apartment, with splendid ocean view. Spacious, with lots of natural light and a balcony to die for! Easy check in (although we came sooner), but not enough spaces for parking (there are a lot of spaces outside the premises, and the neighbourhood seemed safe). TV and refrigerator inside, alone with a coffee machine.

Short distance to beach, views from the balcony and hotel pool, coffee machine with coffee in the room, walking distance to the city centre and still quiet place

The room was extremely large. The hosts were very nice. The breakfast was exactly what needed. The beach near the hotel at calle 88 was fantastic. The view from the balcony was great. It was very quiet unlike many other places in Playa del Carmen.
