“Excellent hotel, really loved it!”

Tbh the hotel is designed very well and managed very well. I liked almost everything. The hotel layout, food, the beach. The peacocks and animals on the grounds was a highlight for kids. I liked the jungle forest on the territory and that the property is decentralised, so you don’t see too many people.

It was an excellent experience staying at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The food was great — the buffets were generous, with good‑quality dishes, plenty of options, and lots of variety. There were different themed meals every day. The natural environment was fantastic, and the interaction with nature and wildlife within the resort was very well designed. There is also direct access to the beach.

“A perfect retreat”

Our introduction to Tucan was with Concierge Cony, she was warm, welcoming, able to answer all our questions and immediately made us feel like we were home. The layout of the resort is nice, with both transport available and walking paths. The walking path through the jungle allows you to feel the peace of the animals surrounding you, coati, peacock, spider monkey and howler monkies share thier space with you. Im not the resort type... but I would stay with iberostar again

Clean, beach access, pool, lovely gardens and general environment. Entertainment options were good. Christmas dinner was excellent. Catering for food allergies or restrictions.

“Perfect family holiday location, we miss you already”

Perfect family holiday location (we were here with two toddlers of 5/2). Great pool area, perfect beach, AI facilities at perfection with many bars across the entire area, great service staff, outstanding buffet restaurant choices and variety. Super entertainment team with good variety of activities (Highlight being the foam party on Tuesday). A nicely embedded jungle area with many animals provides really a tropical feeling. We will definitely come back one day, we had so much fun here.

Gorgeus hotel, and a great value for your money. Iberostar Tucan is a great resort and its location is superb. Just around 40 minutes walking of Playa del Carmen's 5th Avenue (or 10 min by Taxi), the hotel features a lot to do, a lovely pool which is spacious and a beach with plenty of palapas to chill and relax. I think considering the price we paid it was a great deal, special considering similar all inclusive resorts in the area. It is not a very huge resort but I see that as a pro rather than a con, since the walking distances from the rooms to the beaches is not a lot even if your room is one of the "farthest away" The food here is also really great, tasty and there are plenty of options available. One last pro that I want to mention is the vast amount of cats around the hotel.

The hotel was designed to preserve the 'jungle like' environment. It was majestic to walk from the room to the beach across this mini jungle with exotic animals walking around freely. The food was extraordinary! There's nothing I love more than having chilaquiles for breakfast. Fresh fruit including my favorite: papaya. The different restaurants ensured there were meals for all kind of preferences and diets. Every day new dishes were prepared. And the dessert table couldn't be better!

Nice ocean view, quiet place! An excellent garden!
