“It was almost perfect”

Really, I can fully recommend the accommodation. It is very close to the beach, Walmart, and many restaurants, bars, etc. The Quinta Avenida, the top street of Playa del Carmen, is about 5 minutes on foot. The apartment is fully equipped with the basic utilities, and if you need anything, you can ask Massimo; he is very kind and will help. There is also Netflix, YouTube, and many TV channels for entertainment. In case of unstable weather, you can also use the swimming pool on the roof of the condo with a sunny terrace. Finally, it was almost perfect.

Exceptionally clean, super friendly staff very easy to reach from the 5th Ave. But above all - a huge thanks to Massimo, he is officially the best property manager in the world ( and I travel a lot); he is the most reliable, friendly and super professional property manager I have ever met. Everything! The place exceeded our expectations. The apartment is well maintained and equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Clean and spacious. Communication with the host was also very good and easy, Massimo was amazing. There’s a Walmart and an Oxxo nearby and restaurants close to the property. The 5th is 10 min away from the apartment. We will definitely come back!

The apartment is simply great/excellent! It is very spacious and bright, and it completely matches the photos. It was incredibly comfortable; everything was clean, neat, and convenient. We were very happy with our choice and definitely recommend this place to everyone!

“Nice stay at Karaluna Condo in PDC”

The condo is ideally located just a few blocks from the beach and the hustle/bustle of 5 Avenida. It's a 5 min walk from Walmart and 13 min from Chedraui where you find the Collectivo terminal. Also, the Tucsas are just around the corner if you wish to go to a more remote spot of PDC like Playa Esmeralda. It's all very cheap, just a few pesos. The condo has everything you need. It's also very secured. The roof top pool is so nice when you come back from the beach or a long shopping day. The cleaning is done every 2 days and the whole place is very clean. Massimo is also always present to answer any question or just have a conversation about your plans for the day. Very useful to get his advice on various things to do. It was our second time at Karaluna Condo and we'll be back for sure! Thanks Massimo,

“Would definitely return to Kiaraluna when we return to Playa del Carmen”

The apartment was a good size for two with a seperate bedroom.it was modern and simply furnishedThe location was great as we prefer a more Mexican community rather than tourist area although grocery stores,convenience stores reastaurants and street food were all really close by. Yolanda the house keeper kept our apartment very clean and was very friendly.Massimo the owner who lives on site was always available and checking in with us.He was always doing maintenance work so we could see why the building looked so good.The rooftop pool area was lovely with enough shade to give relief from the hot sun.

“Perfect choice for your Playa stay!”

I highly recommend this place for any length of stay in Playa del Carmen. The price-to-value ratio is unbeatable. The location is ideal—just a few minutes' walk to the main public beach, the ferry, 5th Avenue, Walmart, and the ADO station. The flat itself is spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything you might need—without unnecessary clutter. The bed is super comfortable, there’s plenty of storage with hangers and closet space, and the spacious living room stays cool and even has a balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked with new pots, pans, knives, a coffee machine, a microwave—nothing was missing. The building is also high-tech, and the air conditioning works flawlessly. The only downside was the cleaning service. The apartment is serviced every other day, which usually includes fresh towels, linens, and a general cleanup. However, while the sheets weren’t changed (which was fine), the cleaner unnecessarily reorganized my belongings—moving things between rooms, including personal items like those on my bedside table. That felt intrusive, and I imagine most people wouldn’t be comfortable with it. That said, this minor inconvenience was completely outweighed by the landlord, who is exceptional at what he does. The check-in process was seamless, the flat was perfectly prepared, and—most impressively—he carried my massive suitcase up three flights of stairs without me even asking. A huge gesture that alone deserves a 5+ star rating!

“Great apartment with a fantasticooo host”

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Massimo was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and communicative, always making us feel comfortable reaching out with any questions. The apartment is within walking distance of the city center but located just outside the noisy areas, which was perfect. The bedroom featured a very comfortable bed and a ceiling fan, allowing us to keep the room cool at night without needing the air conditioning. The bathroom was excellent, with a spacious walk-in shower, and having a balcony was a great bonus. The entire space felt modern, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of room to relax. One small but noteworthy detail I appreciated was that the kitchen equipment had no lingering odors—something I’ve encountered in other accommodations. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place!

“Home away from home”

We had such a lovely stay at Kiaraluna we wanted to extend our time there. It felt like a home away from home. The apartments has everything you need and is very spacious. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Cleaning is done regularly and very well. Super secure and easy to go everywhere without being in the busy / noisy part of PDC. Massimo is really lovely and communication with him was always great. Highly recommend !

“Grat apartment in a perfect location at Playa del Carmen”

Massimo very helpfully took our bags up the stairs to our room on the second floor. The apartment was very comfortable with a large firm bed. The location was away from all the noise of Playa del Carmen but a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The rooftop pool was a saving grace from the heat of the day which was much appreciated.

“Calm and clean place !”

It’s hard to find a calm place in the center of playa, as there are lots of club with very noisy music at night. This place is one of rare calm places you can find ! The cleaning service is amazing, and the host is very friendly and helpful :)

“A perfect stay! A perfect place, location, the owner!”

I can only think in superlatives. The location, the owner, the safety and the cleanliness of the place, in other words everything. Massimo is the man! He is a really great host. When I arrived, I had a problem because my suitcase never left Toronto. Massimo offered to help to call the agency I filed the report with, but fortunately, got it delivered two days later. Any information I needed, Massimo was always there to help. The communication through WhatsApp worked really well, and it was a first for me to do it this way. The studio was excellent, I had everything I needed. the location was excellent too, central to everything, and within walking distance. The beach was also only 7-8 min away. As an added feature, there is a beautiful rooftop, with the pool and a pretty good view. If I could have, I would have stayed longer, but had to back to reality at some point!

A few minutes away from 5th Avenue and the beach, restaurants, supermarkets! perfect! The hotel rooms are very clean, everything you need for everyday life. We will definitely return to Massimo!

The apartment was light and spacious and clean. It had air conditioning and a basic kitchen. The shower was good. There was a big clean fridge. The location is a comfortable walk to Walmart and there are lots of convenience stores nearby. The beach and main downtown area are close. The host was welcoming and pro-active in communicating useful information about check in, check out, and the apartment facilities.
