“Ideal place to stay”

This is a really special place. It feels more like a welcoming home than a hotel. Fabri and Lupita are wonderful, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully and uniquely designed as well as really well thought out for travellers - plugs exactly where you want them to be and expect, you open a drawer expecting a hair dryer to be and it is in fact there and so many other thoughtful things. The place is spotlessly clean and well looked after. Location is perfect, near enough to everything without being busy and noisy. We have stayed in a lot of different hotels in the area and this is by far the best (in fact, one of the best ever!) We couldn't recommend this place more.

CASARTE is a small 6 room hotel that has been lovingly turned into an arty boutique hotel with lots of artwork and original artifacts. The owner Fabri is EXCEPTIONAL - so so friendly, welcoming and eager to share his knowledge and tips on Playa del Carmen. He organised our pick up from Cancun airport and also a taxi to Southern Mexico border. He is very generous with a well stocked help yourself kitchen full of drinks, tea and coffee. Our room was spacious with a large very comfortable bed. There is a rooftop terrace to use too. The location is perfect for walking around Playa del Carmen and very close to the best breakfast in town Choux Choux Cafe.

CasArte is not just another hotel; it is a comprehensive experience of exceptional hospitality with a truly unique person-Fabri. it is a total hospitality that comes from the heart of a talented, generous individual, for whome hosting is an art. Highly recommended!

A truly exceptional boutique hotel! Located just a two-minute walk from Quinta Avenida, the location is absolutely perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms are extraordinarily designed. I honestly have never seen anything like this before. Each room is uniquely and beautifully styled, with incredible attention to detail. Walking into the room feels like a “wow” moment every single time — it’s simply a joy to stay here. And above all — Fabrizio, the owner. He is incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. He generously upgraded us to a suite, which was a wonderful surprise, and truly spoiled us throughout our stay. He also treated us to complimentary beers and wine, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. Any request, even the smallest hint, was handled immediately, always with a smile and genuine care. You don’t feel like just another guest — you feel truly welcomed. Staying here was a beautiful, comfortable, and memorable experience. We would absolutely love to return and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a true boutique hotel with heart and soul.

FABRI (the owner) is probably the most kind, warm, and friendly host I have ever encountered in a hotel stay. Prior to us even arriving he helped arrange activities and recommendations for us, and was always available when I messaged him. He gave us so many recommendations and tried to accommodate our requests in whatever way possible - from a parking spot to early arrival times. He even gave us a room upgrade upon arrival and a bottle of wine. The location was also in the middle of the city and was walking distance from everything! I would 100% recommend this location for a central stay, warm/friendly host, and overall beautiful/unique decor.

“Best babymoon ever”

Cas’arte is a true gem in Playa del Carmen! We stayed here for our babymoon, and Fabri, the wonderful host, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The hotel is centrally located yet quiet—ideal for a relaxing getaway. Fabri checked in daily to ensure we were happy and gave fantastic recommendations. When I mentioned my love for mangoes, Lupita, the lovely housekeeper, brought me fresh ones, making us feel truly cared for. We were treated like family, and even the other guests were lovely. We can’t wait to come back—thank you, Fabri!

What's not to like - perfect location, a few minutes from centre or beach, some super nice bars and restaurants, very safe area. But the host was what makes the difference, going above and beyond on recommendations and support for all guests. We loved our stay here and we actually changed our travel plans so we can return at the end of our trip. Filtered water, free coffee, wine, mosquito repellent, beach towels...all the possible amenities are provided by Fabri who takes amazing care of all guests.

He took care of us from the moment of booking until the moment of departure, and even more. Every question, request, or wish, Fabrizio dedicated his utmost attention to make it possible, to fulfill it, and the hotel, simply on another level, each room unique and filled with personally selected items. In an excellent location very close to the main street and the beautiful beaches. We truly felt as if we were guests in the home of a good friend whom we have known for a long time. For Fabrizio, there is a saying: Come as a guest, leave as a friend. We definitely gained a new friend."

“Come here without any hesitations!”

For me one of the best touristic experiences in my life, I swear. And we are experienced travelers. Located in a very calm street if the central part, walking distance from the beach, looks like a secret jam: swimming pool, veranda, top-comfortable bed and pillows. The only one regret – why we didn’t stay here for more time.

Cas'Arte was the perfect hotel for our stay over at Playa del Carmen. Nice facilities, easy to park our car, quiet during the night, and still super close to the centre and great breakfast places like Choux Choux Café. Above all, it was the owner and host Fabri who made it an exceptional experience. Fabri took intensively care of us, helping us with whatever question we had, he is extraordinary :-)

It was like an oasis in a Desert, I could not believe the attention to detail that Fabri ( owner and creator of casarte ) delivers. For most he is a Humanist and an artist and when people talk about they put their soul in to something well this is the best example you will ever find, please trust me. NOTHING is to much trouble to him, he has such a beautiful personality and warmth and we have left knowing our lives are much richer having stayed at Casarte and meeting this lovely man. HOTEL outstanding ROOMS amazing which is a reflection on Fabri. These little jewel in a crown places do not go on forever and I would urge you to book this place when you visit Playa del Carmen sooner rather than later.

Fabri is the best host we've ever had! He takes care about everything you want. This is a real boutique hotel, each room is totally different and has been furnished and decorated with a great taste. You will also enjoy the terrace on the rooftop. Excellent located at the 5 th avenue - pedestrian zone.
