“Enjoyable New Year's Plan”

Villa's heated pool and jacuzzi, Spa treatments (Thai massage), Rainforest (water circuit), Sur beach club, Saffron dinner, Traditional Mayan dinner.

The villa was very tired looking - it’s in need of an update - toilet plumbing was an issue, the casing around the fridge was broken, the pool wasn’t cleaned prior to our check-in etc. We’d received confirmation that an extra bed would be made-up for us on arrival, but it wasn’t. We ate in each of the restaurants and although the food was nice and the service good it was extremely expensive for what we got.

Love the beach and the pool for the family. The villa was spacious and well set out. There was a wide variety of expensive restaurants.

“The reception team isn’t professional”

The reception team didn’t provide our bill when we checked out. They said that they woukd send it via email abd whatsapp but they haven’t sent! I contacted with customer service and wrote to the hotel team but they don’t provide our stay bill. I don’t know the reason why they hesitate to share the bill. I have ti share this bill with my compnay but reception team is very unprofessional!

“Amazing resort”

This amazing hotel is the picture perfect of Mayakoba! It's one of those hotel that you drive up to and say "Wow"! I'm so happy that l got to stay here!" Our villa 931 was with a direct view of the sea. The villa was large, nice and comfortable; we got a fantastic swim pool, private bed beach double shower, a good sized bathroom. The beach is not good, but I knew already. The food and the service room was amazing, the customer service was great and meticulous was very professional and always available to help us! A special mention goes to Miss Gaby and Regina! Butler specials! Thank you very much! This is a paradise place to stay and forget all your troubles.

Pristine grounds with a secluded and luxurious feel. The property has its own mini ecosystem with wildlife, fresh water, and jungle. The staff were all impeccable and the food was delicious! The beach is clean and spacious and it was easy to get a beach chair each day. Special mentions to Edwin and Alin who were so friendly and helpful every day! When we forgot our sunscreen, Edwin helped us get it from our room.

Beautiful resort but service level they pretend is not achieved. Took two days and five phonecalls to get a kids bike instead of adult which a zeven year old can't ride. At the fift time the answer was " we have to check if it's available" . Made reservation months ago. Ages of kids were known well in advance. And to get to restaurant you need a bike. It's a huge resort. Now i took my seven year old on the arm. First two days we had a wake up call at 7AM by the gardeners extensive use of a leaf blower. For hours and hours. Asked for taxi to xcaret they asked 140 usd. Normal price is around 50. Playa del Carmen 42 but normal 25. In there defends they show a price list. That list is BS. Room: we stayed in family villa at 1500 usd a day. Strange that's there is no toilet room at main level. Bathroom are very small considering the size of the villa. Toilet in master bathroom is really below five star standards. Coffee machine nespresso is nice, unfortunately they did not refill the milk in the refrigerator. We heard from other guest that there is a complimentary boat tour of 45 minutes. This was not told upon checkin. We stayed five night. On the third day I went to concierge to arrange a departure time. Fully booked for the next three days.... days after we saw several departures with only two guests in the boat. They have a culture show on select days. I checked on availability upon checkin. They promised to check on that. They forgot and day after it was sold out. All in all. They do it with a smile but you will always get a No. And than I would not complain about prices of 45 usd for a breakfast or 25 usd for a tiny kids pasta Will never go back

The beach huts are new and stunning, superb design. Also the normal villas are lovely too. The travel agency they work with is amazing - highly recommended. I liked the possibility of having the bike to go around the property.

One of the most beautiful hotels we've ever been to. The natural mangrove settings combined with the luxury of the hotel are just wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We went to celebrate our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it an extra special occasion. It is very expensive, yes. But you can see back every penny spent in the details and the beauty of the place.
