Overview
Occidental Playa de Palma (formerly Barceló Pueblo Park) offers a fully equipped cycling centre, an outdoor pool and a wellness/fitness centre. It is in a quiet area of Platja de Palma, just 200 metres from the beach. Rooms at the Occidental Playa de Palma are modern and peaceful. All rooms are bright and have a balcony. The hotel has beautiful landscaped gardens with an outdoor pool. The wellness centre includes a sauna, Turkish baths and massage service. There is a heated pool in winter. Wi-Fi is free in the rooms and communal areas. There are many golf courses nearby, and you can also enjoy scuba diving, hiking and windsurfing in the surrounding area. The cycling centre offers a range of road bikes. There is a buffet restaurant, serving local, national and international options. There are many restaurants, bars and shops close to the hotel. During summer the hotel offers an entertainment programme including evening shows. Occidental Playa de Palma is well located in Mallorca, 6 kilometres from Son Sant Joan Airport and 12 km from Palma de Mallorca.

“A short cycling break away from the British weather; good on the whole 7/10.”
My room was good, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Overhead shower was excellent. Bike room was very impressive, equipment % tools to use, bike wash facilities, secure and easy to access.

The bike hire staff were fantastic. Gym and indoor pool were v good. Reception staff and cleaning staff were good.

We loved the indoor pool, the gym, the quality of food, the location near the beach, the helpfulness of reception staff, smiley cleaners, . The food really needs an extra mention. Usually buffet style is a lot and tasteless , here it was each night completely different, countless salad types and catered also for pescetarians. I don't eat meat but was spoilt for choice. The beds are two large single put togehter but they made the bedding so tight and well on it that you really didn't know you are not on a kings sized one. Comfy bed and pillows.we slept like babies.

“A good hotel with very good staff and good food. The apartments are a bit aged, but still functioning”
I liked the staff and the quality of the food. Also I like that there are a lot of facilities in a proper size like fitness, pools, sauna, restaurants and placement of the property

The hotel overall is really nice, the variety of food was very good and the location is also very convenient. It`s around 10 min from the airport and 20/30 min from the center. There is also convenient public transport.
