“Decent place to stay”
Good quality breakfast and evening meal. Large rooms. Dedicated bike garage. Great nature reserve opposite with opportunity to see wild flamingos close up

Amazing location (at the beach, just next to the s‘Albufera nature park, bus stop in front of the hotel). Great selection of vegan and vegetarian options (not just a collection of side dishes but plant-based protein choices; fresh meat and fish). A rather small and familiar hotel - very relaxing atmosphere. Nice staff - we will come back!

“not suitable for UK market”
I would like to make it clear that this review is based purely on our own experience at the hotel, which we booked through the UK market. We had previously stayed in the south of the island at a fully staffed property that exceeded our expectations, so we decided to move to the north, which is promoted as more family-friendly. This hotel had very good reviews, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Firstly, the Wi-Fi never worked during our stay, despite raising the issue. More significantly, the hotel is almost entirely marketed towards the German market. While we have nothing against that, everything – from the food and entertainment to the pool activities – was designed for German guests. We appeared to be the only non-German family there, which meant our children couldn’t easily interact with others as there was no English spoken during the activities. The facilities themselves were below the standard we expected from a four-star hotel. The jacuzzi was broken, the indoor pool was very cold, and children’s entertainment was poor. Aside from one organised volleyball game, most activities were very basic. The entertainment staff did their best, but it was clear they had very limited resources. The pool surface was also unsafe. Many children, including ours, ended up with bleeding toes after only a couple of days. The lifeguard was handing out plasters constantly, so pool shoes are essential. On top of this, while the pool is advertised as open until 8 p.m., the lifeguard disappeared after 7 p.m., leaving no supervision for the last hour. The food was average, but the live cooking stations were very under-resourced. Only one person was responsible for pancakes, eggs, and omelettes, which created long queues every morning. Another major issue was the noise: every night, very loud music from the sister hotel next door went on until very late, making it hard to relax or sleep.
