Great location. Marina Rubicón has fantastic services and restaurants.

Our second time staying on the boat. 🛥️ Lovely location great sunrises and sunsets with places to sit on deck to appreciate both. Great little gally and wonderful air-conditioning. Quality fixtures and fittings although starting to get a little tired now. The seating is more than ready for re covering.

An absolute delight. The owner is friendly and welcoming, with refreshments. The boat is stylish, comfortable, and well equipped. The bed is just way too comfy 😍 The picturesque marina had some wonderful restaurants. I'm checking dates to book again.

The yacht was in a fantastic location. Quiet, plenty of amenities, supermarket, Cheap and expensive restaurants, The family who owned the yacht were very friendly and helpful.

“Perfect”

I'm a frequent visitor to Playa Blanca but this was my first solo trip, I wanted peace but not to feel isolated. After many hours of searching and back and forth I spotted the Yaku Wayra Charter and immediately knew it was the one for me! The boat is homely and has everything you need (an abundance of coasters), it's beautifully clean and the views are amazing. Sat up top for sunrise breakfasts and watched the sun go down on the loungers at the back. Laura is a great host, she explained how everything worked when I arrived and responded immediately when I had a question. Staying on a boat was a new experience, you don't notice the movement when your inside but the swaying became comforting, I'm a light sleeper and had to buy earplugs due to the new sounds especially when the wind picked up. Laura assured me I would feel safe and I did. A massive bonus was use of the Oasis pool at the marina, I spent a couple of hours there everyday and it was never busy. Playa Dorada is a 10/15 min lovely walk away. There's a shower on board but I used the Rubicon Marina shower facilities which were clean and spacious. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars close by plus stunning walks and beaches. 100% recommend for an unusual stay.

“A brilliant and different holiday experience.”

Such a peaceful relaxing holiday. Top deck seats for morning sun then back deck seats for afternoon and evening. The lower seats were much better than the photos, so comfortable. We used the toilet/shower blocks a lot to save on the tanks, they were excellent and clean reminding us of caravan holidays when we were little, part of the fun. We had free use of the lido with its big pool and lovely sun beds. There are so many nice restaurants and bars close by and the Rubicon Marina area is so classy. Thank you Laura for the lovely welcome pack of chocolates and fruit and showing us how everything worked.

“Peaceful and Tranquil. Something completely different!”

We chose this as something a little different - to stay on a boat in the marina, rather than a big hotel chain or resort. It was a lovely trip and certainly different. One has to remember one is staying on a boat so it is cosy and there are sounds from neighbouring boats but you get used to that in the main. Laura, who we were in communication with in the days before our trip was so helpful, friendly and lovely. We then met us at the boat to check us in and she explained how everything works for us. There is a loo and shower on board but as you’d expect it’s quite small, and the shower blocks are so clean and well appointed, we used those instead. We enjoyed some nice meals onboard, prepared in the small kitchen which had absolutely everything you might need. Being on the marina, there are loads of restaurants there too and a bar at Oasis with live music most nights. Classy and elegant rather than noisy raves, so none of the marina activities impinged on rest at the boat. Lots of walks from the marina, we walked to Playa Blanca a few times and to the beaches at Papagayo too. There is a pool at the Oasis restaurant with comfortable loungers which is available for those staying in the marina. Unfortunately for me, the pool isn’t heated and was a tad cold. Overall a wonderful trip. A big thank you to our hosts!

Lovely boat in a beautiful location. A short walk to the many restaurants and shops of Marina Rubicon. Great sitting out on aft deck for a few wines after dinner.

Amazing, Beautiful place, so exceptionally clean. All moderties and amenities right on your door step. Laura who met us on arrival was very very friendly and constantly apologising for her poor English( even tho it was very good) better than my spanish anyway. Great place, great location very good staff. What else do you need for a lovely holiday X

Peaceful location yet easy access to shops, bars, restaurants, beaches etc In terms of amenities/ facilities, we had everything we needed for a week away onboard the boat We loved returning to the boat in the afternoon after a morning exploring or by the marina pool and relaxing in the sun on the comfortable chairs on the back of the boat. Laura, the owner, is super helpful and responsive

location on the marina was great- all facilities within easy walking distance. several beautiful beaches, enjoyed walking and snorkelling. could choose to cook on the boat or eat out.
