The directions given by Karina were perfect. Having secure parking is a bonus. The approach to the villa was underwhelming, but when opening the front door there was a definite WOW! The property has a traditional Spanish feel, of older style, with a beautiful inner courtyard from which the rooms lead off, feeling more of a home ( which l feel it probably was) equipped with everything you could possibly need, and then some. The south facing veranda with sea views was stunning, and so peaceful, day and night. We like to walk, so the 15/20 minutes to Rubicón Marina was not a problem, Playa Blanca is about an hours walk. The Papagayo beach’s are about 30 minute walk. Probably most visitors would need a car. The swimming pool and sun bathing area was spotless.

It was a traditional Spanish villa and was like staying in a home. It had a washing machine which is brilliant when your away. The views from the villa are beautiful with Mountain View’s and sea views. It’s very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Property is in a quiet location and a pleasant 15 to 20 minute stroll from Rubicon Marina with its interesting array of restaurants and shops and is equally spaced between both local beaches which are 25 minutes walk away. The centre of Playa Blanca is just under an 1 hours walk away with the lighthouse around 2 hours walk away, so if you enjoy walking along promenades there is plenty of scope for you here. The villa is traditional Canarian style with a tiled central courtyard with all room accessed from the courtyard, the villa itself is very well equipped and appointed and everything that you may need is there you just need to find it. For us the garden terrace with its view down to the sea was our favourite place, either for an al fresco breakfast or chilling out with a glass of wine and a book on our return from that days expedition. The pool looked wonderful, but in all of our time there we did not see anyone either sun bathing around it or swimming. It was a real home. It is the only place we've stayed at that we could live in permanently. The layout of the villa is perfect with the central courtyard and private outside space.

We found the deal last minute and the host/manager Karina was wonderfully helpful. The property is perfect for a family and huge for a couple's vacation. There was a designated parking space and a very safe area. It was lovely being so close to the swimming pool with fantastic views towards Fuerteventura. Sunrise and sunsets are visible from the terrace and the whole house is very airy and clean with a large kitchen/dining and social areas. We couldn't fault our stay and would visit again. On a side note, we found that the local harbor area was as good if not better than the main Playa Blanca beachfront. Good restaurants and cool bars nearby.
