“A perfect spot to relax, swim and enjoy the sunshine and tapas.”

This is the second time we've stayed at Villa Fae, for a good reason - it's perfect. The location is so close to the wonderful Papagayo beaches, perfect for a morning swim. The pool is ideal; big and deep enough for a proper swim, unlike many of the villas we've hired in the past. Yes, it's unheated - but the benefit is that you don't have to mess around with a pool cover, or pay extra for heating. Probably not ideal for kids, as also no shallow end, but great for adults. The residential location means it's super quiet and private. The bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom is modern, spacious and with a good strong shower. Netflix is a great option for the evenings you choose to stay in. There are plenty of seating choices around the pool, offering both shade and sunshine. Maria is a great host, very helpful and quick to respond to anything.

We've been to this area of Playa Blanca a number of times before and Villa Fae is probably the best villa we've rented here to date. The villa itself is extremely comfortable and well equipped, the variety and comfort of the seating around the pool area is great. Options on sunny spots - and shade - throughout the day. The pool itself, although unheated, is great for swimmers - large and deep! Very private and quiet around here. Would recommend this villa for couples (but not for children; the pool may be too cold for them and no shallow end). The short walk to the best couple of beaches on the island, if you like things unspoilt (Playas Mujer and Pozo, the two large beaches before you reach Papagayo), is a key attraction for us.

10/10! I’ve stayed in many holiday rentals over the years in many different countries. This was the best by far for many reasons. Maria was simply the most thoughtful, kind host I’ve known. We arrived late, just before midnight hungry and thirsty. She had kindly stocked the fridge so that we could have a glass of water, fizz and a ham and cheese toasty. She’d also left us coffee and milk. We were blown away. The villa is the most equipped I’ve ever stayed in. Even had a lettuce spinner! Salt & pepper, herbs and spices, ample everything. It was literally a home away from home. The outside area is stunning with sun all day. I’m not easily pleased but I could fault not one thing. Lovely quiet location. Supermarket and several places to eat within quick walking distance. You can get a bus or drive to the main strip along the sea where there is more restaurant choice.
