“Lovely family run hostel”

The hostel was run by a really lovely woman and her daughter who were so kind and friendly - they made our stay. The hostel was relaxed and had a good kitchen and areas to relax. The rooms are simple but comfortable.

“Fantastic place”

Fantastic place! Super clean, spacious and cozy. The kitchen and bathroom are spotless. The AC and internet are great. 1 min walk to the beach. Yummy breakfast. But the best part was the hostess Luz. What a wonderful soul! I came to stay for one night but extended my stay. Can easily see myself stay for weeks at a time.

I have been in Acuarela Hostal at the beginning of May and I was the only tourist there! But I didn't feel lonely because Luz, the owner, is an amazing woman and despite not speaking the same language we kept eachother company and I had a really good time with her at the hostel! She also helped me whenever I needed anything, she gave me tips and we also had dinner together (awesome cook!) The location is quite far from the main resorts, and it's great for a peaceful stay in Playa Farallòn! There is a small market near the hostel and that's all you need! Also the beach is across the road, like 50 meters from the hostel! What else?

The room was beauriful, cozy and clean. The patio with the hammocks was really cute. The hosts are lovely. You have to go to their restaurant, the pizza is delicious. Great location at the beach, but at high tide there was no beach at all (might be unusual, SantaCatalina also had unusually high high tides).

“We stayed 2 nights. It was enough”

We had a private bathroom and access to kitchen - our priorities. Hostel is a few steps from the beach,( kind of dead end) not very clean. But if you go to your left, in direction to Decameron hotels - it becomes more interesting: with restorants, shades, chezlongs and so on. When you reach "all included" zone you can even use their toilets and showers, which are right on the beach. 'Chiva' stop is just in front of the hostel's gate (access to Panamericana), but occasionally it serves as a garbage collection point with a staff scattered around.

A nice, clean, family run hostel very close to the beach (20m). Well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, spacious dormitory room. Comfortable bed (at least the lower one), some space for keeping your stuff. Great area with hammocks, tables where you can spend time with others or chill out alone. Great, great atmosphere, very good attention of señora Luz and Carolina. I am vegan, so they did their best to give me something for breakfast. Thank you

The owners are absolutely amazing. Seldom met such nice people!! Apart from that, the hostel is really nice and I could not think of anything to complain about. The breakfast is good and the beach within 1-2min by foot. Thanks for the amazing stay!

The breakfast was really yum, and the owner is a sweet guy who is willing to help you when needed. It was my second time staying in a hostel and it was amazing one of the best places to visit! I will 100% go back.
