We loved it here. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to the beach. We spent a few days here at the end of our holiday - relaxing and perfect for what we needed after quite a busy, strenuous time in Costa Rica. Playa de Avellanas has a lovely, laid back feel to it - not touristy (yet). Jose was excellent to communicate by with whenever I had any questions and very helpful when I enquired about transport contacts.

The place is beautiful and includes everything you need if you want to cook for yourself. The pool and all the facilities are very clean and if you want to they also do your laundry. To do the shopping you need to drive for about 20 minutes, but there is a Mini Market a few minutes away. The beach is a 3-minute walk and it’s very clean and nice for both swimming and surfing. Absolutely recommend staying here, we extended our stay for a couple of days.

The inside of the room was very clean and it had all basic comfort. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen area quite large. It is two minutes walk from the beach and it s easy to rent surf boards etc nearby.

Location was top notch, only a 2 minute walk from the beach. Pool area is great and was very clean. Unit was very clean. Compound felt very secure.

Perfect location and 1 minute walk to the beach. The apartment was great, clean and had everything we needed, the bed was so comfortable we slept amazingly. Full kitchen faculties so we cooked a lot, made smoothies etc. Relaxing by the pool was lovely and the complex is lovely and full of plants.

Killer location. Short walk to beach, felt safe

Wonderful place to stay in Avellanas! Little Hawaii is a close to the beach as you can get. The owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was very comfortable as possible. We look forward to visiting again!

Absolter Absolutely recommendable! Very beautifully maintained facility. Seemed to be very safe. The possibility to barbecue on site gives additional plus points. The concept of little avellanas to offer only 4 studios allows a very quiet stay, the other guests during my 2 week stay offered interesting conversations at the pool from all over the world, if desired. Optionally, you can also leave the complex KEY-LESS to concentrate fully on surfing without having to worry about losing the key. At night, the locker for the surfboards offers additional security. The room was TOP, no insects, only high-quality furniture, perfect air conditioning and a finely equipped kitchen. Even the blender had enough power to prepare my own cocktails. Will definitely be back!

“Spacious studio close to the beach”

The studio was spacious, clean and well equipped (kitchen appliances, Smart TV with Netflix). Also it was really close to the beach. José is a great host and very attentive.
