“A nice place”

A nice place to stay when visiting Plav. What you rent is not the whole house, but an apartment unit within the house. The landlord lives on the second floor, first floor and third floor are arranged for guests. We had a pleasant stay, the breakfast was very good, the hosts kind.

Very friendly hosts. We were the only guests in their house for 2 days, so we had an option to sleep in cooler ground floor and to use balcony in 3'rd floor.

Spacious and clean house. Welcoming and very nice English speaking hosts. Exceptional meals prepared and served in the family dining room. Highly recommended for those who looking for authentic experience and contacts with local families during their travel.

“Experience Albanian hospitality”

All floor was our.We became part of wonderful Albanian family of three: mother,newly wed daughter in law and son. Mrs. Tina proudly showed us her three national costumes, hand made, with wonderful vivid embroidery.She has degree of Albanian language and history. Mr. Almir (degrees on two faculties) is well known herbalist with connections all over the world. Many thanks. Faleminderit!

Wow.. simply wow. My hosts were the best. The lady of the house not only prepares a different (and extremely tasty) breakfast with fresh ingredients from her own garden, but showed me how she made these traditional dishes, and how for example how she preserves her harvest on veggies, and different fruits like prunes and berries, as well as mushrooms gathered in the forest for the winter. She let me sample some of those preserved foods, and I was simply amazed at her skills and knowledge. And of course the room was very comfortable, I had my own entrance (with a few kitties waiting outside to welcome me every time I got back, no they were not allowed in), a large kitchenette in the room and a very nice view on the mountains.

- BREAKFAST: excellent!! A wonderful surprise. Possibility of vegetarian breakfast, everything cooked by the mother (bravo!), delicious and abundant, with typical sweets, juice, coffee, omelette, vegetables, something wonderful, prepared at the requested time. The best breakfast ever. THANK YOU!! - Tinnah: a very sweet and helpful girl. - Almir: he personally picked me up at the bus station. - KITCHEN / BEDROOM: spacious, equipped with the necessary accessories. My bed was a sofa bed, but it was very very comfortable, I slept better then at home.. - Excellent value for money. - Wi-fi working perfectly. - Owners reachable, live in the same building. - Quiet place, surrounded by nature and the countryside. They have a wonderful garden, full of flowers that smell lovely. Up the hill: going down, city centre is 15/20 minutes walking.

The mother and son hosts were great, the breakfast was lovely with produce from their garden. The views from the house is nice, location about a mile away from the center which is handy for hiking.

Really delicious homemade breakfast! Everyday it was something different to eat, everything excellent! And big portions. The apartment has a free parking space and a big garden. Rooms are big, with a lot of space. Kitchen is equipped and it was possible to cook something by ourselves. It is near centre but in a quiet area. We recommend it!

I enjoyed my stay in that apartment. After long hike, it was perfect place for rest. For breakfast I got homemade pie, which was delicious. Location is also okay, not so far from the centrum. Thank you!
