From the time we arrived to when we left, our host Maria made us feel so much so at home. She was very helpful and let us stay another night when our ferry was cancelled. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping very good a good breakfast too!!

It's very traditional vibe - family run - we booked last minute and Maria was helpful in checkout letting us stay a little over - it's the perfect spot across from beach and incredible value for money - stay here and spend the money you save on the beautiful food and drinks just over the road!

Lovely rooms with a balcony and close to beach and restaurants. Family run hotel and Maria makes you welcome and is very helpful. Basic breakfast to start the day, all you need to do here is relax.

The room was so clean, the staff did a great job. The location is perfect. Please remember to research how to get here as there are only 10 taxis on the whole island. You need to call and reserve if you would like to go for the main city Apollonia. The service is amazing and the hotel is just 1 minute away from the sea.

Extremely good location in platis gialos, best beach on the island, having hired a car to tour about! Maria is very helpful, arranging taxi to and from the port ,about 20 mins €30 ! Communication prior to arrival was was great and very prompt . A plethora of superb beachfront restaurants all within 3 min walk ! Room was a reasonable size with big patio seating area ! Bathroom is on the compact side with the typical greek style shower ,which had good power and temperature! Beach towels are provided. We stayed 6 nights in total and Maria sorted out our laundry.very good value for money for platis gialos! Room was thoroughly cleaned and sheets and towels changed everyday! We will be back to stay next year !

Hotel Benaki is in a great location, just off the beach and near the bus stop.

Friendly and helpful staff - Maria did our washing for us on a last minute request for an incredible price! Walkable to all the nearby restaurants and shops and right across the road from the beach. Reliable buses to the rest of the island.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location and super clean. Every day the staff clean up the room. We recommend it.

Light and airy, hotel itself has great charm, built around a lovely courtyard for breakfast -ideal quiet location so close to the beach but away from the actual beach front, very helpful kind and communicative proprietor

Everything at the property was perfect ! The building is beautiful with an amazing tree with such wonderful colours covering the front It was a 30 second walk to the beach ! The building was very clean

Perfect location, just across from a small bakery and the beach. The bus confidently stops a couple of doors down as well. The room itself was clean and just right. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and a great bonus. The staff are extra lovely and accommodating as well.

It’s so close to the beach and the staff are really lovely, particularly Maria! The room is nice and clean and a decent size. Maria was really helpful with information on how to get to the hotel and the bus stop is a short walk from there. The breakfast set you up well for the day as well.
