“Unforgettable stay at Villa Stella – stunning views lovely local beaches and great nearby restaurant”

Our stay at Villa Stella in Crete was truly excellent – we were especially pleasantly surprised by the daily cleaning service, something we had never experienced in any other holiday apartment before. The location was perfect, offering stunning views, and the nearby village had fantastic restaurants to enjoy. There are also more local, less crowded beaches within easy driving distance, and we often reached a beautiful bay in no more than 20 minutes by car. Argie was wonderfully kind and made our stay truly pleasant and memorable.

Big balcony. Great view. Friendly staff. Spacious bedrooms. Closeness to Plakias and nearby beaches.

The villa offers absolutely stunning views over the surrounding area. We stayed in a top-floor suite, and the balcony was the perfect spot to take in the landscape — beaches and mountains. There are many interesting places nearby: several well-equipped and clean beaches, Kourtaliotiko Gorge 10 minutes by car, and the peaceful village of Myrthios, which we found especially calm and cozy. We really enjoyed exploring the area.

The view is incredible, the location is gorgeous and Mrythios is both a beautiful village and a great base to explore South coast and central Crete, loved our host Argie who welcomed us and gave many local suggestions for food and activity.

Very spacious, clean apartment with a breathtaking view. We very much appreciated the daily cleaning service and the easy communication with the host. The village Myrthios is a lovely place with some handcraft shops and nice tavernes.

Argie was a very kind host, who did everything to make us feel welcome and to make our stay pleasant with the various suggestions she made to us. The apartment is spacious, well-decorated and has a beautiful view of the bay of Plakias and is located in a small, quiet village, where there are still several excellent restaurant options. It was a great base for exploring the south!

Beatiful view, great accomodation and delightful, friendly host.

The best apartment on Crete we have been to. Fantastic view on Plakias, with super terrasse ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just to sit, look and feel atmosfere of south Crete. Brand new apartment, modern, very clean, comfortable and last but not least I have to mention fantastic service of management team and especially the approach of Argie.

“Great Location and Value.”

We needed one night near Preveli Beach and this place did the trick. It was exactly as pictured and a very nice apartment. The view over Plakias was great and the host provided some great food recommendations on arrival. Location and price could not be beaten for what we were looking for in a one-night stay. I would suggest asking the host for a google map location as it is a bit hard to find as google maps did not map it correctly. Like most of the villas in the mountains the drive is very steep so if you are in a economy car, get a run at the drive way.

The view was simply magical and nestled high in the hills above Plakias Bay, is was peacefully quiet spot. The villa was spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Buildings and gardens immaculately maintained. There is a level of quality and attention to detail that reflects that this is a family-owned business who really love their property. Elena was a superb host.
