Centrally located in Plakias, just a few steps from the long sandy beach and 50 metres from the city centre, Hotel Sofia offers bright rooms with free WiFi access. The hotel is seated on a curve uphill of the main road towards the other beach. It is busy noisy and smelly almost all day from cars and scooters

Great stay, great breakfast, great host. We totally recommend the location. Be aware that the area is very windy, we could not go to the beach beacuse of the wind.

A good option to stay in the area. Easy to check in. Our room was not very spacious, but it was quite suitable for a short trip. Both the room and the facility are clean. The breakfast is rich and quite nice. Parking is easy. It would have been more enjoyable if our room had a sea view, but being able to reach the sea within a few minutes’ walk and sit wherever we liked made up for the lack of a sea view. Overall, it met our expectations.

The hosts - the family that runs the hotel - are helpful and gracious. They are happy to offer suggestions on the area and take the time to explain. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The homemade marmelades were outstanding. Would be very happy to stay again.

Located at the center of Plakias, Sofia hotel is very close to restaurants and coffee shops. The stuff is very polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options for a 3-star hotel. The building is a bit old but the rooms are renovated. I would recommend this hotel to families and couples looking for quiet vacation.
