“A great place to stay”

Everything about the property was excellent. It was well appointed with a separate lounge, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The balcony looked out over the mountains and was well shaded from the heat of the sun. The gardens are beautiful with a lovely pool area that was exceptionally clean. Alex and Elena were excellent hosts with lovely gifts of oil, home made wine, olives and cake throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and the WhatsApp link proved to be very useful. Location wise, the apartments are just behind the main frontage of Plakias with great tavernas, restaurants and shops close by. The property was also good value for money and compared well with other much more expensive options.

Friendly owners, spacious apartment with all facilities available. It is cleaned daily. Comforrable beds. Nice swimming pool too. And everyrhing is within walking distance.

“Highly recommended”

A beautiful, serene establishment made for a relaxing break run by a lovely couple who make sure everything is just right. Super clean on arrival and kept that way by the cleaner who visited every day. Location is ideal as only a couple of minutes walk to the tavernas and beach. We were allowed a late checkout which was really helpful. A superb place to stay- many thanks.

“Plakias paradise”

We had a wonderful 5 week stay at Plakias Riviera. Our apartment was modern, beautifully decorated and furnished and well equipped with everything you need to self cater if you choose. The garden and swimming pool area is a calming oasis. Elena and Alex are the perfect hosts, with lots of local knowledge and recommendations, nothing is too much trouble. A few minutes walk to cafes, restaurants and shops, this was our perfect stay in Plakias.

Close to the beach but also very quiet. The pool is just great!

Spacious, clean excellent facilities

Fantastic apartment. Very central location. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms all cleaned every day. Also two terraces one with a hot tub which was a nice exra. Pool area was also lovely and well cared for. Hosts Elena and Alex were so welcoming great recommendations for places to go and restaurants. Sad to be leaving and would definitely return in the future. Would not stay anywhere else in Plakias.

“Fantastic (maybe the best?) place to stay in Plakias”

It's a pleasure to review Plakias Riviera. The apartment was great - newly built, spotlessly clean, and we even had a jacuzzi bath tub in the terrace :-) the location is also great - both quiet and central, with a minute's walk to the beach, tavernas and supermarkets, yet in a quiet side street. The real jem though is the hostess Elena, which made us feel like we're at home. Without requesting, she sat with us to list and explain all points of interest. Where to eat and shop - and to the finest details, like ease of approach to some places, or where to go if it's windy. Apart from that, she spoiled us with a local, self produced wine, and even gave us a jar of self produced excellent honey for the return journey. So thanks Elena - you made our stay great!

“Best choice in Plakias”

Location is very convenient with all restaurants and shops within few minutes walk. Parking was right at the entrance not crowded (off season though). Cleaning service was every day which is not that common when you rent apartment as well as beach towels were available. Beds were super comfy. Pool area was wonderful with running river sound and lots of plants. Plakias beach was way bigger that we expected, Kalypso beach was right behind the corner 😆 Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Provided sort of the briefing when we arrived with a handy map and places to visit around. Not to mention all the eatable presents we received - amazing experience. All the time we felt like somebodys taking care of us.

I traveled all over the world, this is one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. The suite looks better than in pictures!!! No detail is overlooked. Everything is perfect: quality of the bed linen, renovated to the highest standard, excellent beds, very well stocked kitchen, Large windows, light filled spacious rooms, amazing view from the terrace, complete soundproofing, peaceful and quiet, yet just minutes to the beach and restorants, private parking, strong and super quiet AC. Warm and helpful hosts. If I will have a chance to return to Crete, I hope to go back to Plakias Riviera.

Hospitality was 100% We were treated like family but still given privacy and respect. Our place was very clean and everything we needed was available.

“Amasing stay in Plakias”

Large and comfortable apartment at ground level, with two terraces, one of them near the kitchen and the other near the master bedroom, with a big very warm jacuzzi where you can relax. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms both with showers, so it is convenient for 4. The hosts, Elena and Alex can't make enough to make you feel at home, and got out of the way to help us in a few minor inconveniences we had. Preveli beach is one of the most beautiful in the island, with the small river where you can swim and the palmtrees. Try Skinaria for snorkel... We would definetely come back!

The welcome was exceptional. I am very particular about cleanliness and I can tell you that it was very, very clean. The welcome from Alex and Elena was charming. They helped us a lot and shared the best places to go.
