Excellent location room with a lovely view

“Great staff, lovely location”

A lovely hotel in a great location opposite the beach. In May there were no noisy bars nearby! The lady on the front desk was superb. Helpful and very friendly. Other staff all good too. The bed was huge and the room a good size and nice balcony. Fridge in the room. Also a very good shower. Nice breakfast with a good choice. Street parking or we used the car park at the side of the hotel.

“Nice stay in Plakias”

The room was very nice - good size, firm beds, desk, little balcony with racks to hang clothing to dry. Good location too in center Plakias, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Also close to the boat to Preveli and the bus station to Rethymno.

Helpful friendly staff, good breakfast, luggage storage for free, clean well presented room, the pool.

Breakfast is excellent and open until 11.00 which is very much appreciated on holiday Lovely choice of eating area, either inside or open air. Excellent location, beach in front of the hotel, with free use of sunbeds and umbrellas and which is serviced by the bar staff! Vangelis was a superb member of staff

Good location right on the waterfront with a decent quality breakfast included. Hotel and facilities are nice with free sunbeds available on the beach for quests. Free parking available in a public carpark at the rear.

My second stay at Lamon Hotel confirmed the excellent experience of last year. Perfectly located both for beach and town access, and as a base to explore the Rethymno region; the tastefully decorated, spacious and clean rooms provide comfort and the perfect environment for relaxation; breakfast area with a view of the bay, delicious varied sweet and savoury breakfast, selection of fresh fruit, home baked cakes and more; above all the warm welcome and assistance of the owners and the incredibly friendly and helpful reception, waiting and cleaning staff: you made our stay once again memorable and comfortable. We thank you to all for that.

The only things we truly enjoyed were the breakfast and the dining room staff. And the cleaning lady was kind enough to help us carry one of our two suitcases downstairs, since there was no elevator.

The hotel is very clean, the breakfast was with plenty of choice and different pastry every day. Receptionist Violeta deserves special acknolegment because of her kind devotion to her job.

“Easy going and relaxing stay in a modern hotel”

A well maintained and clean hotel right in the middle of the village along the beach bouleward. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh products. A beautiful sea view from our balcony, quiet room with plenty of space. And relatively spacious bathroom as well. A sandy beach is long and the hotel has its own umbrellas and sun beds reserved for the guests. A small pool as well (even if we did not spend any time there).
