Overview
Featuring a spacious pool with sun terrace, Ikaros Studios are built within an 8,000-square-metre olive grove in the Cretan village of Plakias. The complex has a Mediterranean garden with sun beds and a play area for children. The self-catered studios and apartments Ikaros are air-conditioned. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available, and rooms come with a TV and a well equipped kitchenette with fridge. Nearby beaches include Plakias at 700 metres, Damnoni at 1.2 km and Amoudi at 2 km. A shaded parking area is available on site. Staff are always willing to offer you a raki and help you with information about the area. Your two-way transfer to the airport and assistance with car rentals can also be arranged.

“Wonderful hideaway”
Lovely little aparment, all basic suplies in the kitchen. Garden and pool was magnificent! Lots of cats we liked them. Owner lovely lady!

“Rural retreat in a beautiful surrounding.”
We especially liked the generous pool area with beautiful Mountain views. Relaxed atmosphere, 3 mins drive to the beautiful beach. The kids loved the cats. Would come again.

The apartment is on the way out of Plakias, so it is best to get there by car or taxi.

Breakfast not included. Location good for walking to different beaches. Room was cleaned each day and Maria very helpful. Gardens and swimming pool excellent.

A lovely and peaceful cottage complex, simple and unassuming but comfortable. The pool was a favorite of the kids, as well as the grassy area, the cats, the ripe grapes. It was nice to drink coffee in front of the house in the morning, read a bit and plan the day's trips! We definitely recommend Preveli and Trio Petra beaches. It is more convenient to go to the town of Plakia by car, as well as to eat in the village of Mythios (a 5-minute drive up into the mountains). A bakery is 10 minutes' walk away (e.g. for breakfast).

Great welcome by Maria, takes care on all topics and very friendly. Great location, 4 min drive from the beach. Very good location, we had 2nd floor with view towards sea side and pool. Pool helps a lot during hot days. Supermarkets are 4 min drive by car towards Plakias.

The location of Ikaros Studios is perfect, quiet and with a beautiful view (facing the mountains). The garden and pool area is a perfect place to relax and calm down. The apartment is daily cleaned and offers a lot of space. To Plakias it last only 2 minutes by car and to Mirthios (nice tavernas with a beautiful view) is also very close by car. To trek Preveli or Aradena or just to visit Ammoudi beaches the perfect starting point! Thanks Maria for a pleasant stay!
