“Best place to stay”

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cyano Hotel in Plakias. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. The hotel is beautiful, modern, very clean and has such a peaceful boutique atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is perfect: close to the beach, restaurants and the beautiful surroundings of South Crete. What made our stay truly special was the kindness and hospitality of the staff. We had mentioned that we were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary, and as a surprise the team prepared a fresh cream cake for us. Such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture — it made our stay even more memorable. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Plakias itself is amazing, but Cyano Hotel made our holiday unforgettable. We honestly felt relaxed from the very first moment. A very nice hotel, close to the beach and restaurants. There is a breakfast buffet with enough choice. The cappuccino with almond milk was very good! Spacious apartment with a great shower and good working ac. The shower did water a part of the bathroom, but it didn’t bother us that much.

Beautiful fresh hotel with lovely stuff. Really good breakfast. Near to restaurants and beach. Stuff is helpfull with everything. Love it! Coming back year after year :)

“Fantastic staff, beautiful property in an excellent location”

Great staff who are extremely welcoming, accommodating and work hard to give a great holiday experience. The hotel is very modern and you can see that it has been decorated with quality in mind, it felt pretty luxurious and at the same time comfortable, with various areas for eating and relaxing. Also very well cleaned at all times! The room had a very well stocked kitchen in terms of cooking implements which was helpful for us as we wanted to cook and go out for some meals. The balcony with seating was great and there were modern TVs and good storage in our room. Breakfast was fantastic, a great offer of such variety ranging from pastries, cakes and bread to cheeses, meats (hot and cold), salads, olives, dressings and then fruit and Greek yoghurt. Also fresh juice and coffee of course! It’s safe to say we didn’t need much lunch after this. The property is also located about 2 minutes from the seafront and main strand of restaurants and shops, but it didn’t feel too loud or busy at any point. There’s a great view of the mountains from most balconies and also the pool and at breakfast you can sit out either fully or semi al fresco. Parking was also easy to find and close to the property for ease. To be honest, we can’t believe we got such a great deal here! We would certainly like to return in the future.

The staff were in particular very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and the bedrooms were spacious. The balcony's are nice to have for drying clothes and relaxing in the evenings.

Very comfortable apart hotel. Cosy environment, comfortable beds, efficient AC, amazing pool beautifully lighted up at evening, nice smell and all necessary equipment inside room. It's definitely place where we would like to come back. We could stay a bit longer last day and enjoy great swimming pool before trip. Owner and personel very kind. Everyday cleaning during breakfast. It's perfect for stay with family. I can also recommend location, it's very close to many beautiful places.

“A brilliant, serene oasis at the heart of Plakias”

A wonderful place to relax and explore perhaps the best stretch of southern Crete. The hotel itself is situated at the heart of Plakias, within a very short distance from the beach, restaurants and shops. Decorated in a neutral, calming palette, it offers tastefully done, spotlessly clean rooms and suites, a good breakfast, and a delicious pool space which was never crowded or noisy during our stay, even when there were other families with small kids present. There are some minor areas that could do with some improvement, e.g. a few repairs here and there in the rooms, or a more Crete-oriented breakfast, but overall, they feel unimportant and did not detract from the pleasure of staying there and letting the spirit of prevailing vibes of luminosity and quiet carry us away. The staff were all very friendly, and on our last day they went out of their way to prepare us a special travel breakfast pack to take away on the road the next day.
