“Excellent place to stay if you love the sea and want to have a serene and good time!”

Excellent location a bit further away of it all to have peace snd serenity but close enough. Excellent view of the sea from my room! Modern room well thought and very practical, the lights are excellent! The bathroom very comfortable and excellent shower! The Kitchenette good enough with all the things you need! The staff were very attentive and helpful! I will definitely come back!

Creta Mare Hotel was a positive experience. It is in a very good location, very close to the center, has direct access to a nice beach and all its balconies have a wonderful view. The bed was large, something especially important for us since we were traveling with our 2 year old daughter. There was always hot water in the bathroom and it was generally comfortable. The breakfast was very good, there were eggs, omelettes, bacon and fresh fruit as well as the classics in cheeses, butters, jams etc. Every morning we left full and with the feeling that we ate something good.

Great sea view from the room, the room is big, light, the bid bed is very comfortable, room service every day, fresh and clean towels every day, location is amazing, 3 minutes from the supermarket, 5 minutes from the village restaurants and cafes area. And there is parking. I loved the hotel very much 😍

A beautiful view from the room and balcony. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and exceptionally clean with rooms serviced 6 days a week. Opposite the beach and a short walk to main street, shops and tavernas etc. Plakias is much quieter than the busy resorts in the north or Crete but welcomes tourists. There are plenty of tavernas, restaurants, cafes and shops and people are very friendly.

Great view and a clean, well kept room.

The room was large, very comfortable bed and balcony with amazing sea views. The evenings with cold drinks on balcony were magical. Small kitchenette in the room was useful. The location also good in calmer part of Plakias. Around 8 min walk from bus station.The beach close to hotel is not the best for swimming (lots of stones) but within a minutes of walk you can reach amazing Plakias beach with beach bars (reasonable prices and good food). It was a comfortable stay because of amazing balcony and cleanness.

There was a stunning view from our room. The room was spacious and comfortable. Situated just a 5 minute walk from the main bars and restaurants but it was quiet. Maria, Ena and Lina were all friendly and professional, lovely staff members.

“Relaxing time at Plakias”

Spectacular sea view from the balcony. Great location on the quite, western side of Plakias but only walking distance to nearby tavernas and shops. The room was cleaned regurarly and breakfast was served daily. Rooms were good size and beds very comfortable. The owner Mr Giorgos and the lady at reception Ms Maria made sure that we had an unforgettable time at Creta Mare Hotel. We will return for sure.

Very well situated, had stayed before, beach across the road. Staff very pleasant. Bed very large and comfortable. The balcony was good with an excellent view. The room lighting was good for reading in bed but inadequate for sitting to read, write, consult a map etc or do anything else.

The room is big enough and refurbished. The double bed is very big and very comfortable. There is a closet and a mini refrigerator. Television and air conditioning. Strong shower and warm water. The view is exceptional from the balcony and the area is quiet. The location is very convenient, very close to restaurants, super markets, pedestrian area. Easy parking in front of the hotel. Very close to Souda beach, (one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, if it's not windy!) The owner, Mr Giorgos and the lady at the reception, Ms Maria, are very nice and are trying their best to make your stay very pleasant.

The room was spacious and spotless with a huge and very confortable bed, very clean big bathroom , small kitchen with everthing what you need if you want to do something to eat in your room and a large balcony with a beautiful sea view. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.

The view is just fabulous with just a couple of meters away from the sea ( just cross the street and you’re there) as well as the restaurants and markets places from Plakias city centre . The room was very clean very big with a decent balcony that can accommodate 3 people easily, besides that the area is very quiet and pleasant,perfect atmosphere if you’re lookingto spend a good quiet weekend or even more relaxing time. Big parking place . Strongly recommended.

EVERYTHING!!! Location and views- 10 out of 10! Accommodation- big room compared to some other local hotels, very fresh pleasant look to all the amenities- furniture, bathroom, lighting, balcony. Crispy fresh snow-white bed linen and towels changed regularly. Delicious varied breakfast, including a variety of yammy Greek pastry pies. But above all it is Georgeos - the owner and his hard-working staff that make you feel almost at home- that adds extra touch to the holiday. They go out of their way to help you and if any issue arises they sincerely and promptly sort it straight away.

Very large room with private balcony. Very clean and everything I needed in the room, with a huge bed. Excellent value for money. I think everwhere was very recently painted. Bright, fresh room.
