Our 2nd time staying at Alianthos Garden. A wonderful family run hotel and you can tell how passionate they are to look after their guests. Location is excellent. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean. Rooms and bathrooms could do with an update but I believe this is happening in 2026. Cannot wait to return.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The room and all the spaces were spotlessly clean, which made everything feel so comfortable and welcoming. The food was amazing — fresh, authentic, and full of flavor every single day. The location couldn’t be better, just a few steps from beautiful Plakias beach. But what really made my experience unforgettable was the staff: so kind, professional, and genuinely caring. They made me feel at home from the very first moment. I really wish to come back next year!

“Lovely hotel, great food”

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. Comfortable rooms. Nice to be given a free cocktail on arrival. Super buffet dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff. We only stayed one night, but could see there were lots of options for activities and hotel is ideal for families to have a lovely relaxed holiday. We'd happily stay here again.

The standard of service was excellent in all parts of the hotel . And one was made to feel a valued guest at all times . The atmosphere was so friendly & welcoming and the hotel had a real family feel about it. The food was superb a d there was always a huge variety of dishes to choose from. It was a wonderful stay .

The food was really good, the personnel at the bar and the reception really polite and the location at a walking distance from the main beach of plakias which was nice and clean. Bed was really comfortable with a selection of pillows

“The best stay I have had by far in Greece!”

Everything was amazing. This hotel was the best I have stayed in all my many trips of Greece and I have visited Athens several times and many of the islands! The staff go out of their way to meet all your needs. The food is exceptional, very fresh and with ample options of local cuisine. In all our stay no two meals were the same in fact the buffet is very well planned to have different dishes at every meal! Everything is fresh, local and abundant. The attention to detail is amazing! Children are well catered for and the rooms are impeccably clean! All the staff from the Hotel general manager, the owners and their extended family, the reception staff, the entertainment, housekeepers, chefs, cooks, waiters and barmen are all amazing people and go out of their way to meet and greet all guests and are constantly asking if we need anything and constantly smiling. This hotel is a true gem and probably Crete’s best kept secret! The location next to Preveli and Kourtaliotiko Gorge is very convenient and really enhances the unique Cretan experience! This Hotel is well worth a stay and I really hope we will have an occasion to come back!

The buffet, both for dinner and breakfast, was delicious and very varied, offering a wide choice to suit all tastes. We had an excellent night in a comfortable and quiet room. Great location in Plakias, clean room, very nice clean lady :) pleasant decor of the hotel lobby and outdoor area, nice swimming pool, very good dinner and breakfast. Nice beach, restaurants and shops near by.

The staff make this place special. The restaurant manager, the bar staff, restaurant staff - they are all wonderful. Pool table and games offered - really nice touch Rooms very clean Greek coffee Wine list Buffet dinner had options for all and chefs were Brilliant
