A beautiful apartment by the beach with a strong community vibe. The hosts were warm and welcoming providing valuable tips for our stay in Pizzo. Just outside of the apartment, there is a lovely family run restaurant with delicious food. You can take a stroll by the sea or walk up to the town if you don't mind a steep incline: everything is within easy reach.

Fantastic location in a beautiful old building near the sea, cafes and restaurants. Such a beautiful place. Our host was amazing with information, transfers etc. Thank you Basilio you made our stay fantastic.

Location is very large and has everything you might possibly imagine you need during your stay (starting from air conditioner, hairdryer, towels, shampoo and beach umbrella, finishing with plastic sandwich boxes, coffee, sugar, salt, etc.) I couldn’t find cutting board, but it would be a great luck, if I would :))) Sunny beach and cool shadow garden are both just in front of the door, so you may stand outside and enjoy the sea all day long. We came by airplane and remained without a car, but train station is 15 minutes away from the accommodation (to go on foot) and may bring you to Tropea or Lamezia in 30 minutes. Shop is just around the corner (1 minute on foot), all necessary food to cook may be bought there. If need more, Eurospar is about 1 km away, plus this shop offered delivery service for all we could buy to our accommodation, place called “Marina, Licastro” for just 5€. We enjoyed the typical world-famous Italian atmosphere of merry rural common people life, because our apartment was not in the town centre, but directly on the seashore. There remains calmness, uniqueness and vividness along with quite restaurants that made us feel happy and comfortable, even more than in historical centre of Pizzo or Tropea, which were overcrowded with people. Water clean and warm. Beach is sandy, no stones. The owner of the house is extremely polite and kindly offered us help to bring us to the airport early in the morning by his car, because taxi could have cost us more than 100€ for this 30 km. We were deeply satisfied with our vacations, as we were almost a so called middle-class or budget family, but received much much more impressions than we could have ever expected. We’ll surely come again and highly recommend Larghetto Licastro and it’s location to everyone who wants to feel “real Calabrian Italy” and visit the Tyrrhenian Sea.
