It was clean and friedly. They had had some problems with flooding (like the whole of Piura) so there was mould in the room. This may be resolved by the time you stay there.. but i stayed just 2 weeks after major flooding in the whole town. to be fair to them i expect many hotels were effected and would have the same problem. the shower was hot, bed comfy, security good, air con working etc, so no other complaint.

Piura is great everyone. Norte Peru is fantastic. And start with Piura. And Hotel Solec. All staff wonderful, and especially Leydi - she is unbelievable in her service.

“Perfect for a stop over in Piura”
Nice hotel. Bed was big and comfy, ensuite bathroom. I landed at 8pm and there restaurant was still open which I was very thankful for.

Air condition is necessary in this city. So it was great to have it. The staff was really nice and helpful.
