The flat was clean and cosy. Lots of little touches to make us feel welcome. It was in a good location, quiet and peaceful with views of the mountains, the sea and Gavdos Island. All the facilities worked well. If we come back to Crete, we'll stay there longer! Thank you.

Location is out of the little town of Pitsidia , i guess about 1.5 to 2 km.it is a very quiet location on a little travelled road but only 100m from the main Matala road. You could walk to Kommos Beach but it would be a scorcher in warm weather. Kommos beach is kilometres long and not nearly so crowded as Matala . Kommos beach is also about 2km away [my guess] . Views from Irene’s place are superb , surrounded by trees.

We especially liked the location, very close to both the beach and the town.

Nice place to stay in nature with a great view. Everything is there for a comfortable stay.

Irene was very friendly and helpful! The apartment is very comfortable and had everything we needed. It felt so magical waking up to the sound of birds every morning 🥰 The view is amazing, location is perfect! Full of green and nature!

Irene was expecting us, warmly welcomed us with a welcome drink and accommodated us. The accommodation was clean, nice as in the previous reviews and photos. It met our expectations. The location was quiet, we were not disturbed in any way. Irene was friendly, caring and bakes delicious cakes. Her room service was excellent, we were extremely satisfied. I especially praise a good mattress. We were here for two weeks and slept very well.

Great view and lovely host. We got homemade cookies for New Year's Eve.

Irene and her son are very kind hosts, really careful at their guests needs and happiness. The house is very close to one of the best beaches of south coast, and convenient to reach interesting spots. Sunset view from the garden is magical. Thank you Irene we hope to see you again soon!

Views of both the sea and the mountains from our cosy apartment were amazing. Located just outside of Pitsadia, offering tranquillity, far away from the hectic crowds yet close to beaches and dining options. Surrounded by a well-kept garden full of flowers. Charming and attentive host Irene&son.

I consider this place to be one of the best located in the Mediterranean! It's far away from big crowded resort, but just 10 minutes from the beautiful wide sandy beach. It's on the countryside, surrounded with amazing landscapes, but just a short walk from town with shops and good restaurants (one very fine is just 150 m). It's also in a walking distance from famous and picturesque Matala, and a short drive from may other picturesque beaches (Agiofarago, Agios Paulos), and splendid monuments (Paphos, Gortis). The owner is very helpful, and bakes wonderful cakes!
