Overview
Set 2 km from the centre of Pitigliano, B&B Maremma nel Tufo is a family-run farmhouse surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It offers rooms, self catering apartments and a swimming pool. All themed, rooms and apartments feature country-style furnishings, a satellite TV and private bathroom with hairdryer. Each of the apartments has a fully equipped kitchenette and dining area. A sweet buffet breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room with wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. It includes homemade cakes and pastries. Savoury produce is available on request. The outdoor swimming pool is equipped with chairs, tables and deckchairs. The garden around the pool has a furnished patio and free barbecue facilities. A shared laundry is also available. A bus leading to Grosseto stops right opposite the B&B while Orvieto can be reached in about 55 minutes by car.

The place is lovely and the staff is excellent. We spent two nights at Maremma nel tufo, and we are very happy we found this place! The apartment on the ground floor is very nice and has all you might need for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and the little veranda is very cute. The pool area is very nice with a variety of seating options. The pool was perfect for us and our young boys as they can swim - but note that apart from the steps in, it is quite deep, so it is not ideal for children who can't swim. The breakfast was a delight, with many different options that included freshly made cakes, crostata, croissants,fruits, cheese, prosciutto etc. Maria Elena and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place.

Everything :-) the place was gorgeous, the hospitality as well and it was like feeling at home. Location was superb and very close to wonderful places to visit and to relax. Breakfast was excellent as well, everything was fresh and homemade.

“Warm host, romantic stay”
The hosts were really wonderful. We didnt reach at the right time but Mary was kind enough to help us through. The property has grapes, a very Cute dog, and a wonderful vibe. It has ample parking, it is on the road. The rooms are clean and romantic. The breakfast was nice and it carried the trademark warmth. The bus station is only 5 minutes away walking. The city is about 2km and requires a bus/car.

The location was great, a few minutes drive from town. A large housing unit with a balcony and kitchen, a pleasant pool and most importantly an outstanding hospitality experience with people who give you the feeling that you are part of the family. They helped us with recommendations in the area, parking in the city and even reserving places in the restaurant. A unique hospitality experience in a stunning place, highly recommend!

“Great stay with great hosts”
Maria and her husband were absolutely great and even baked a cake for our daughter with milk and egg allergies, plus had gluten free options for breakfast. We received advice for travelling in the area. Very tentative hosts, all facilities for your own cooking were there and a great swimming pool. My daughter adores their lovely dog! Large apartment with shower and bath!

“Beautiful holiday”
Not far from the accommodation are thermal baths, Etruscan towns almost without tourists - Sovana, Sorana, Pitigliano, in 40 minutes you are at the sea (Ortobello). Absolute calm in the evening. You can cool off in the pool during the day :).
