This place was absolutely incredible! Even though we travel a lot, there are only a few places in the world we could truly imagine moving into — and this is one of them. The owners are so kind, warm, and easy-going, which made the whole experience even more special. As soon as you step into the courtyard, you walk through a stunning tree alley that feels utterly magical — and the little chapel is just breathtaking. Every corner, both indoors and outdoors, is designed with so much love and attention to detail. You can feel the sense of luxury, comfort, and deep appreciation for beauty in everything — from the elegant porcelain to the fully equipped kitchen. It’s clear that the owners truly love what they do and that they care deeply about creating a place that feels extraordinary — almost like stepping onto a movie set. The atmosphere and energy here are truly unique and enchanting. We’ve stayed in many castles and special accommodations, but this one is definitely among our all-time favorites. We were already checking our calendars to see when we could come back before we even left! We honestly have nothing to add except what other guests have said too — we booked way too few nights! Wholeheartedly and sincerely recommended — this place is pure magic.

It's a magical place, it's not just a rental place, it's a home. Everything you need is there, it's beautiful. I personally loved the old radio and recordplayer that still works! “Hidden gem just outside Pistoia!”

Amazing gem just outside Pistoia! This property is great value for money! We hired a car to have during this stay which I highly recommend given nothing is within walking distance. The accomodation is very good, and very large! Roberto was a fantastic host and very helpful and great with his communication.

The property was absolutely stunning and had lots of beautiful original features incorporated into the design. The isolated position meant that it was very private and quiet. The gated entry made it feel very grand. There were some thoughtful touches in the accommodation too. It really felt like you were staying in someone’s home. The host went above and beyond when we had an issue with our car hire. He sought solutions and despite us hitting many issues with our travel he made a very stressful situation manageable. He was incredibly responsive and had great local knowledge that he was able to advise about.

A unique accommodation in a chapel built more than 100 years ago. The entrance to the courtyard is amazing. The villa was very clean and equipped with everything you could need to feel comfortable. Communication with the host was very easy. From the upper bathroom there is a place where you reach the chapel bell, which is still functional. We felt wonderful at this accommodation.

Looking for a memorable holidays? Look no more! First of all, the architecture - absolutely unique, neo-gothic former chapel of a famous Villa Philipson, but modernized to the maximum, and to the highest quality and comfort. Ever been in a place where, after a long drive, you could just enjoy local wine from a professional cooler, cold water from a fridge, fresh coffee, and even a local olive oil and pasta ready to be cooked in the kitchen? Well, me neither, but here we are. Oh, and did I mention streaming platforms, fresh towels, complimentary sleeping masks and sleepers? All available! Grill is there, along with a beautiful back kitchen and garden, and an entrance to an olive orchard. Everything and anything you can think of to be comfortable here is there. The road is just next to the house - it means a short drive to Pistoia center, restaurants, market, the highway to Florence, but it just might not be the quietest place on earth, when you sit outside – but inside the house it is calm and quiet. Oh, and the best part, your host! Roberto is helpful, friendly, passionate about the place and an absolute perfect host. You want restaurant recommendations? No problem! Need a car service? He will tell you where is the best and nearest one, and will go extra mile to ensure that you are being taken care of. Highly recommend!
