“Relaxing stay”
Nice comfortable apartment with relatively small to mid size living room/kitchen, 2 bedrooms and large terrace (we stayed at our request on 1st floor). Peaceful setting in the country site. Well equipped. Close to supermarket in Trinchi and Pisticci (nothing special but worth a visit). We also visited Matera (app. 45 minutes by car) which is an exceptional city and worth the drive. Nice wide beaches (not too crowded) advised by Giuseppe at 20 minutes. Giuseppe is a great and helpful host who follows up quickly on questions and requests. He got us at our request a sun umbrella for the terrace where it can become quite hot. Nice views over the area. Family lives downstairs. Secure closed gate and green garden.

A good place to stay in southern Basilicata not too far from the coast and Matera. The nearby hilltop town of Pisticci is very quaint. The closest town, Tinchi, has a good supermarket. The villa itself is on flat land, surrounded by olive trees. It is a two-story building with a large flat on the ground floor and two smaller flats on the first floor, each with two bedrooms, bath and kitchen/dining/sitting area. The upstairs flats have a terrace in the back (morning sun) and front (afternoon sun). There is also a standalone studio on the ground level. There is a common garden area in front of the villa and separate parking adjacent. The upstairs flats are not large but they are well organized. The bathroom shower was excellent and the kitchen is well equipped. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
