“Nice and clean”

It was clean and comfortable, steps away from restaurants and places of interest. The Indian family who runs it is lovely, they helped to open the door of our room and made sure we were comfortable. We really liked the layout and were able to get some good rest. I would definitely recommend it.

Shell Beach is a great location -we met several locals and they were all very friendly. The attractive shoreline is a short walk away and there are a handful of decent places to eat and drink within a 10 minute stroll. We didn't have especially high expectations as this was at the 'value' end of the spectrum but it was overall 'fair'.

The location is very good, close to the main road but quite. Right next to the hotel is a lovely restaurant / bar.

Tucked away hotel with free parking at the front which was great. It was very basic, clean and tidy. We were staying only one night on the way to LA and made for a good stop over. Brilliant coffee shop next door which was a real highlight. Checked in and out with no issues. Very Quiet considering it was very near the freeway.

It was a nightmare. The reception staff does not speak any english. Upon check in they don´t check you ID instead they show you all the hotel cards with names on it who are left for check in and you point out your name. Our room was occupied because somebody else with a similar name took it before and he did not even had a confirmed booking. We had to contact another person by What´s App he came over to kick out the other guest from our room, they cleaned it a kind of and around 2 hours later of waiting and discussing we could move to our room. Sorry in terms of privacy policy, guest handling and security this is the worst place I´ve ever stayed in. I did only because it was already midnight and we had no other choice. The rooms are very noisy very close to 101 and the pricing is insane what they charge for the room in relation to what you get. You are not safe there once you move in your room you never know if it´s the right room you picked by yourself, no communication only by hand and feet, no ID check, not even a slight discount and what happened and we saw it life they just opened the room door with the general key woke up the guy who was in our room and moved him out. It was crazy to see. So lock you door-you never know.....
