The staff were really friendly and offered advice on things when asked, the room was large, comfortable and has a fridge. The location of the hotel was great within 100m of the beach and restaurants but wasn't noisy plus it comes with free parking although the sat nav takes you to the front entrance not the car park.

Excellent helpful polite staff. Had its own separate outside seating area for smoking as there is a ban on smoking in Pismo

“Excellent location”

I liked the convenience of being close to the beach, lots of dining options, and around the corner from Harry's nightclub. Also liked that they offer onsite parking. All of the staff we spoke with or were greeted by were all friendly. The free coffee in the lobby was very much appreciated. I also liked that there is a cafe right next door to get breakfast food and enjoy in the patio or back at the room.

The reception staff were excellent both on check in and check out, even advising us that if we were quick we could make it to the pier for sunset, which was one of the most amazing things my wife and I have seen. It was clean and tidy and the room had perfect views of the pier and the beach. The location was perfect as we could walk to the pier in a matter of minutes and it was right in the middle of a handful of bars and restaurants. A room upgrade for our honeymoon was a lovely touch, as was the décor in the lobby and the free tea/coffee at anytime. The adjoining café for breakfast was also brilliant.

“Nostalgic comfort”

I first stayed in this hotel 25 years ago when I was a teenage on holiday with my parents. Remembering how unique it was I had to stay here on a trip with my own children. The hotel has obviously been refurbished since then but it still retains a lot of character. The lady that checked us in was lovely and our room was very comfortable. The easy parking was very helpful. We had breakfast at the adjoining cafe.

“Old time hotel next to the beach”

Great location in Pismo for this old fashioned hotel. You feel an old time atmosphere since going up on the elevator. Good bed and room size.
