“Beautiful, peaceful location, highly recommend”

Beautiful, peaceful location and surroundings. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, it seemed to be no trouble when we arrived much earlier than check in time, our room was already ready, also when we left Alejandro gave us a lift down to the bus stop. The breakfast was plentiful and very healthy. A very nice place to chill, relax and look at the stars.

Very nature/organic oriented place constructed around the natural shape of the place. Great organic breakfast and very friendly staff.

This is my idea of a perfect hotel in a unique small town. Really comfortable, clean cabanas within a well designed garden. There's an outdoor, fully equipped kitchen, star gazing terrace, pool and places to lounge about dotted throughout the leafy garden. Relaxed atmosphere and obvious commitment to sustainability. Nutritious and tasty breakfast either indoors or on a sunny patio. Nelson and the other people working here were all helpful and friendly.

Such a superb location. It only has 5 or 6 rooms and whilst there we felt very comfortable and at home. Loved the kitchen area where we could prepare our own food and sit peacefully whilst looking at the mountains. Beautiful room and gardens. So glad we stayed here. The owner was so welcoming.

The rooms smell divine because of the essential oils they use. The bed is very comfortable and we were so happy with the heating in the room since it was freezing cold during the night. The owner was very kind, informed us of all the activities we could do in the surrounding area. Breakfast was great, with diverse local products, everything fresh. The outdoor kitchen was also fantastic, we could cook our dinner in the evening there. All in all, we had a super pleasant stay and can recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really friendly and helpful owner who was very knowledgeable about the local area. Beautiful star viewing platform for the nights. Lovely communal areas in the property and the staff were great. Delicious breakfast - you will not go hungry! And from the breakfast area you can see hummingbirds flitting around the plants.

A bohemian paradise in the magical Elqui Valley. So much love and kindness put into creating the secret garden of UMA. So many places to relax and soak up the surrounding nature. Highly recommend this beautiful little hotel.

“Lovely place to stay in Pisco Elqui”

We stayed two nights in July 2024 at Uma at a private cabin. We enjoyed our stay quite a lot. Our minimal room was spacious, clean (was daily made up), with storage space, its own heater and bathroom amenities. Comfy and big bed. We appreciated the complimentary ice tea on arrival and being able to remain on the property after check-out. The delicious and abundant breakfast with local produce gave us a daily headstart. Friendly and helpful staff. Two blocks away from the main square and near mini-shops and restaurants. The external hot tub (paid separately, 40 kCLP extra) under the stars, with no time-limit (!), was a worthwhile experience.

Amazing place, excellent staff and delicious breakfast. Room was also very nice, comfortable bed and clean, the premises have perfect spots for relaxation and watch the night skies. Easy walking distance of the town. You can also bring and prepare your own food.
