A truly excellent experience! We travelled here with our dog to escape the fireworks in the UK. Info given before we arrived was very good, location of the property is very easy to find with parking about 20m away (spaces do fill up over the weekend when people visit the beach but there is more parking available nearby). Pirou Plage has a market of local produce on Sundays. There is a small supermarket that has everything you would need, check opening times as closed some days. Local bakery has a huge range of products. 2 larger supermarkets and fuel stations are within 10 mins. The town is seasonal so was very quiet when we were there. Some takeaways and restaurants in the town but we didn’t use. Local beach is breathtaking. You can walk for miles while looking for seashells and watching the local oyster fishermen at work. The accommodation has everything you will need, all provided and with facilities to allow you to cook whatever you want. Perfectly furnished for a relaxing stay. We had a hot tub on the huge balcony and a sauna inside that we used every day, perfect for a couple or more. We could also eat our meal each evening and watch the sun set over the sea. Lots of places to visit within reasonable driving distance. We went to Granville, Arromanches, Mont St Michel and Bayeux during our stay. We had no need to contact the hosts during our stay but they were very friendly and always available if needed. We will be returning here, maybe during the summer time, as it’s was one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had. Journey from Swindon via the Tunnel took about 8 hours but you can get the ferry to Cherbourg. 5 star, 10 out of 10. Magnifique.

The appartment was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything you needed was present and it was clean. Location was very close to the sea in a cosy small town.

A very spacious, comfortable flat with a sauna - which came in handy on our first, very windy day. Really close to the beach, well equipped kitchen - we loved it !

Sparkling clean and beautifully decorated with plenty of space in an appartment 10 seconds from the beachfront. A lovely sleepy little town, perfect for a complete pace re-set. Loved the sauna after a braving sea dip and the hot tub ❤️

The apartment is very comfortable and stylish. Has many amenities included and is modern. So close to the beach, which is perfect and not too far from Omaha and Utah beach. There are many places to visit with ease and close to big supermarkets. The town is quaint and has a market on Wednesday. There are a few restaurants just around the corner and a small supermarket and bakery.

Lovely modern, styled property. Clean and all equipment you could ever need. Nice balcony. We had no problems with parking which has been mentioned previously.
