Very social vibe. Breakfast was nice

The vibe was absolutely one of the best I ever tried in my life as travel advisor. If you look for a place where people get an almost family connection and still have a tranquil setting - this is a place for you! The staff have a way of bringing people together and gives you the freedom to be whoever you are. I will surely come back - hungry for more of the Largatos Na Banana lifestyle and the delicious food they serve for breakfast and dinner. What a special place!!

Extended my stay 4 times and that is enough to tell you how good the vibes are on this hostel. Good breakfast and AMAZING food for a cheap price!

“The best hostel in Brazil”

This hostel defines what a hostel should be for backpackers: social, fun, amazing value, great breakfast and free activities like yoga. The dinners and brownies were also excellent. The volunteers are like family. Drink prices are fair and they are not trying to make money from you, it’s focussed on making sure you have a nice time which we did!! For me, this has been the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Brazil !!

I absolutely loved the vibe at this hostel! The atmosphere is super friendly, and the staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming, they really make you feel at home. The social side is amazing; there’s a new activity every day, so it’s impossible to get bored. I was traveling solo for a while, and this was the hostel where I ended up making the most friends, it has such an easygoing, community feel. Breakfast is free and delicious, and you can also have dinner at the hostel. They offer a tasty vegetarian option for a very fair price. One of my favorite things was the free daily yoga sessions, such a great way to start the day and connect with others. The staff even asked for feedback during my stay, and I appreciated that they genuinely cared about improving the place. I mentioned a few small things that could be better in the toilets and dorms, but overall, it’s a wonderful spot that I’d absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Pipa.

The hostel is super social and has a very nice vibe. Breakfast and dinner are great and the WiFi works super well! Generally super welcoming and lovely vibe which makes up for the aspects I didn’t like below.

I don’t know if there’s another hostel in the world like Lagarto na Banana. If you’re looking to reconnect with yourself and meet people with an incredible vibe, this is the place for you. I had been following their Instagram profile for a while and already imagined myself there, and the reality exceeded my expectations. Everything was amazing: the people who work there, the guests (friends = irmãos), the fresh food prepared daily with so much love, and the nature surrounding the place. The atmosphere is peaceful, welcoming, and truly special. I stayed there from December 29th to January 2nd, and it was the perfect way to end the year and start another with such positive energy. You will definitely make great friends and always find good company to explore Pipa.

Staying at this hostel in Pipa was simply incredible! It honestly felt like living with a little family. I stayed in one of the treehouses – surrounded by nature, yet still surprisingly comfortable and very clean. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt at home, and the atmosphere they created was something truly unique – unlike anything I’ve experienced in a hostel before. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, very affordable, and added so much to the whole experience. This place is perfect for solo travelers – warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. I can only recommend it to everyone. Huge thanks to the entire team – I’ll definitely be back! 🌿✨

People are nice and there are so many activities they organize! For sure this is something quite rare. For sure it's a good place for socialising...but anything else... :(
