Good choice for an overnight stay. Travelling south it is just after the Gottardo Pass. Breakfast served early for those wishing to make an early start on their journey. Nice friendly staff.

It’s first time I met this genius idea: they book by themselves tables for you for breakfast so you schould not worry about you’ll not find a place to sit in the morning

Breakfast with good options, the view and the quiet are wonderful. Very comfortable beds, very clean rooms. It's very good for relaxing and as a pit stop for activities in the surrounding area.

Decent overnight accommodation. Very convenient for an early start for the southern side of the Gotthard Tunnel. Adequate breakfast but nothing exciting The room was a decent size and met all practical needs. Free and ample parking. Lots of Tesla charging stations.

Very easy to find, located just to the south of the Gotthard tunnel. The location is quiet, there is ample parking. The restaurant provides a limited menu but the food choices are good and of good quality. The menu is fixed price and excellent value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel location is pet friendly. The local council provides facilities to clean up after a dog including free bags (on Via di Mezzo behind the hotel). From Via di Mezzo there is a good walk reached by taking the road under the autoroute and out past the funicular railway. There is a petrol station close to the hotel which was handy to fill up in the morning. On the day we left to head to Basel the tunnel was closed. Fortunately the hotel location gives easy access to the Gotthard Pass so we were able to bypass the tunnel when we saw the log queues.
