Very nice and cozy place, hosts are super friendly, very warm welcome. Perfect location in Piombino, steps from cafes, restaurants and the bus stop. Luca was very helpful and quick in his response. The room is spacious and decorated with lots of care and details. I will definitely come back!

Great location. I have some mobility problems and cannot walk far but it is well situated close to everything needed. Luca’s directions and instructional video made check in easy.

I was welcomed by Luca's father who was friendly and helpful. My large, comfortable room was decorated with taste and the bathroom was big, bright and modern. The house is only about 7 minutes walk from the train station, a few minutes from the sea, shops, and cafe. Cafe Nanna is open every morning at 7 and provides the included breakfast of coffee and croissant. Piombino is a lovely little town.

A warm welcome from Luca’s dad which very much set the tone! Great locations seconds from the main pedestrian street and a really lovely room and bathroom. Both very large and stylish - obviously lots of thought has gone into them. Excellent all round!

“I highly recommand the Piombino 1428”

I travelled on the day of the strike in Italy. So most trains were cancelled. Luca was very supportive and gave me tips while i was still on the road so I arrived at the Piombino 1428 at last. Luca was already waiting for me outside. The room is fantastic. Very spacious with an extra room with a couch, many windows and spotless clean! The location is perfect, very close to many restaurants and view point.

Breakfast was good — after a heavy dinner, it was exactly what I was looking for: a cappuccino with a croissant. Many thanks to Luca, who was prompt with responses and very friendly. The location is great — just a few steps from the stunning viewpoint where you can see Elba and, I believe, Corsica. The narrow streets added even more vibe and authenticity to the place.
