Overview
Piombino's Hotel Est Piombino is 700 metres from the train station and a 5-minute drive from the harbour, which links to Elba Island. The functional rooms offer free WiFi. The Est is the only hotel in Piombino with its own guarded and covered parking, available at extra charge. There is also a free public parking in front of the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes' drive from the port. The covered parking was a big plus. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was really delicious. I definitely recommend it.

“Exactly what i needed”
The kind sir at the reception was really proactive in helping me with my logistics (travelling by bike) and the hotel was perfectly situated for me to catch an early train in the next morning.

The staff is quite ok and helpful, though they don´t speak much English. I would stay in the same hotel again just because of parking. All other hotels have no hotel parking and finding parking in this particular town, is quite an impossible task.

“Great stop off and value for money.”
Location was good with a short walk to town and the harbour. Spoilt for restaurants and bars in the centre. Had private parking but you can also park on the street which is very secure and safe to leave your vehicle. Beds was comfortable with decent size rooms.

“Awful romm standard and so much noise from outside”
I would never call it a hotel, it is more proper to call it hostel. You hear from your bed that how the mad italians drive motorcycles like crazy all night long, it is like you live by motorway. Isolation of walls and window does not exists at all. You hear your next dooor neighbour pee. . The location is really awful if you look for peace and calm. The breakfast was a very big disapointment, only one sort bread, cheese. They seem count the eggs they bring in to the 25 m2 restaurant. No variation att all. I paid around 95 euro for one night for me and my kid. I would even warn you that restaurants in central Piombino act a bit as racists. They dont welcome tourists so warmly. Spain is much better and cheaper, even turkey and greece.
