“Last minute booking, central, value for money and good breakfast and helpful receptionist”
Central location. We had a very last minute booking as expected to get a ferry but weather stopped this. Valentina the receptionist was lovely and gave us some great restaurant recommendations

The hotel is situated in the city centre, close to the old town of Piombino. The main train station is at walking distance.

“Nice stay, but during peak season a bit overpriced for what you get”
Nice old school hotel right in front of the old town with a lot of restaurants in walking distance. Bus stop and train station close by. Decent AC System for the room.

“Convenient for an overnight stay.”
The breakfast was acceptable. Convenient but limited parking. The location is close to restaurants and the marina harbour with some interesting older buildings nearby.

Really missing promised windows. Very dark rooms. But clean! Very small bathroom with wc where you can't sit, cause the wall is to near...We made jokes, that we were like Harry Potter living in his shelter under the stairs at his aunt's house 😊.

“Great little budget hotel, great location and friendly helpful reception staff”
The hotel was a welcome surprise from the moment I was able to park outside the entrance to the great reception staff and the hotel room which was a typical budget hotel room with all the normal facilities. I was very happy with this hotel and stayed a day longer than I had planned to take a day trip recommended by the reception guy. The visit to Poimbino was not planned and turned out to be a very enjoyable stay helped by the fact the hotel Centrale was in the city centre. Having had car parking issues at other places I enjoyed the fact that the hotel had its own parking spaces adjacent to its entrance. It also had a lift that meant transporting baggage to the room was not an issue. The Hotel Centrale made the stay in Poimbino an enjoyable experience.
