View from Hotel Elephant Bay is 10 out of 10. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. Safe place to leave tuk tuk. Clean room, welcome drink and decorations in room. AC in room. Definitely would recommend.

The Hotel Elephant Bay is a perfect stay to visit the baths of the elephants, it has an amazing environment, very peaceful with friendly staff. If you book the room No. 203, you can enjoy the view of the elephants from your terrace. The quality of the food in the restaurant is also great and it has a great value, very cheap.

“Stunning river views and attentive staff made our stay memorable, despite a few facility issues.”
We had a lovely stay overall. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made us feel very welcome. For a couple of days it felt like we had the place almost to ourselves, which was wonderfully peaceful. The view across the river was stunning—our balcony looked directly over it, so we could watch animals bathing in the early morning and see the bats streaming out at dusk, which was magical. I’m glad we had a river-facing room, as it really made the experience special.

“Needs a good revamp but the free roaming elephants were great to see!”
Staff were friendly and it was nice watching the elephants that were able to free roam and not chained down. The staff left a nice flower arrangement on our bed on arrival which was good of them. The pool itself was nice with views of the elephants, but what you dont see on photos and viral videos is the pool surrounded by mess and construction.
