I highly recommend this place for a stay. The room was spacious and very clean, and breakfast can be ordered. A major advantage is the balcony, from which you can directly watch elephants from the orphanage walking to the river for their bath. The manager, Nandani, is extremely kind and creates a wonderful atmosphere. In the evening after our arrival, she guided us through the small garden and showed us all the fruits and plants growing there. She is a truly lovely person. There is also a souvenir shop next to the guesthouse, including wooden elephant carvings. Greetings to Nandani!

Stay at Greenland Guest House was good. It is located in a prime area, and the rooms have balconies from where one can clearly and closely watch elephant herds passing through the lane—an amazing experience. The staff were decent and cooperative.

Very clean, good hospitality, large room. Excellent location, which should be promoted! ——— Negatives: facilities: Difficult to initially get hold of owner. Flat screen tv not working, no toiletries (except small bar of soap), no hairdryer, no Wifi: had to request: easily resolved. Electricity/power cut, no generator back up. Noisy wobbly ceiling fan. A/c didn’t switch off: too cold all night (battery of remote control flat?)

A balcony overlooks the street that the elephants pass along 4 times a day , giving every guest the opportunity to see them from a unique vantage point .

When we go there it’s closed. We booked two rooms via booking.com and Agoda. There was an old couple they told that they didn’t know about our arrivals. We paid for one room before went there. After we went there they prepared two rooms for us. But the problem is time to time electricity was down. The place was not cleaned. Very disappointed. And also they took full amount of payment. I don’t recommend this place

I am totally disappointed about this property because I have booked a DBL room (2 adult + 1 year old child) at this porperty, and they confirmed the room via telephone call as well, but upon arrival at the hotel, they said all the rooms are full, and they tried to transfer me to another hotel that was not related to them (they said that was also owned by them). The hotel management did not take any responsibility for this matter.😡
