Accommodation in a great location with a very helpful host. Don’t expect luxury, but a simple yet unique experience in a traditional space that preserves the architecture and atmosphere of an authentic siheyuan, offering a true immersion in local culture.

The hotel locates inside the old town. A perfect location if you want to tour around Ping Yao. The owner provided detail information about the town and made good suggestions about what to see and where to eat. Comfortable room.

Quiet, central location for an authentic Ancient City stay. Extremely friendly and helpful staff (even in the absence of any English language). They arranged train station pickup and drop off and transporting our bags inside the wall to the property which was appreciated.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful old mansion in a very fascinating courtyard. Feels like a fable. Comfy enough considered the style and antiquity. Staff is very nice, even if they don’t speak a word of english (as usual in these parts of China), they helped us in every way they could, using a translator.

The room and Court yard were absolutely stunning, it was like a movie set. I had everything i could possibly need already provided, and there lovely little extras like a tea pot and cups. The staff were lovely, and I was picked up from the station and at the town walls, brought the rest of the way on a scooter. It was amazing.

The staff were friendly. They arranged transfers for me from Taiyuan airport upon my arrival, and then back to Taiyuan station on check out. The hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing and shopping.
