Wonderful place for a family vacation! Our kid absolutely loved it, especially visiting and interacting with the animals. Everything was fun, relaxing, and family-friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back!

“Wonderful”

We had a fantastic stay. The farm is wonderful, the swimming pool is amazing and the breakfast was delicious. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and we’ll definitely go back. My children were incredibly happy to be able to see all the animals and keep talking about them. The location is perfect, as well. We used it as a base for exploring Umbria and Lazio.

Lovely rural location close to Perugia. Farm setting with animals. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Many places to visit within 30-40 minutes drive and a good restaurant nearby.

Beautiful premises, excellent service, delicious breakfast.

Fattoria il Bruco is a lovely and peaceful Italian farm. The place is off the main road but accessible on asphalt from the direction of Pila. It is perfect as a base for strolling around Umbria. The farm has many animals (horses, rabbits, sheep, cows, pigs, etc.), making it a wonderful area to explore. We were pleased to meet the cats Aura and Nerone, who visited us every morning :) Our apartment was spacious and clean, endowed with everything needed for cooking. The breakfast was excellent and sufficient. A Superconti Supermercati in Pila (3 km from the farm) is ideal for supplies.

“A perfect place to stay in Umbria”

This place is just perfect, especially for families with children but not only. The location, the variety of animals on the farm, the pool, the spacious apartments - everything is simply lovely. Our son was so happy. The hosts and workers at the farm welcomed us warmly and kindly and took care of everything, including the smallest details. The apartment we were in was equipped with everything we needed, we received fresh food for breakfast including cakes and focaccia baked on the spot. Nearby you can find a supermarket and a gas station. Highly recommend!

We loved everything about this property. It was spotless, from the animals to the apartment and the surrounding area, all of which were well-maintained. Breakfast is served in the apartment, with fresh vegetables from the garden, eggs, and homemade cakes provided. The swimming pool was clean, well-kept, and never crowded. The owners and staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even recommending a visit to nearby waterfalls, which were beautiful. This pet-friendly property is home to a variety of animals, including horses, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, cows, turkeys, pigs, and cats.

“Fabulous relaxing in the countryside farm”

Awesome country house surounded by fields and vineyards. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast with lots of Italian delicacies. Great pool, where we always cooled off in the heat. There are many different animals on the farm, which is perfect for children - we mainly made friends with two cats. Farm is near many interesting places, for example Perugia, Assisi and Trasimeno lake. We would love to come back again ...

“Great farm stay.”

The room was well appointed along with daily 'surprises' that were left for us in the room. The farm animals were friendly and accessible. Daniel was welcoming and assisted with our sightseeing. We were able to sit outside for an aperitif overlooking the gardens. I'm happy to come back again.

“Wonderful stay in the countryside with lots of animals for children”

The stay at Fattoria il Bruco was amazing. It is a wonderful old country house only 10 minutes by car from Perugia. They have a lot of animals which were the hit with our two children. The children can help feed the animals and pet them. The location is in the countryside near the village Pila. The house is really nicely decorated and the owners are very friendly and forthcoming. Would love to visit again!

“Great experience with farm animals and hospitality.”

It was a great looking farmhouse and the terrace we had offered nice views of Perugia at a distance. Kids loved to take care of the animals in the mornings. They could not get enough of it. Hosts were very friendly. They got us eggs, olive oil from a nearby farm, baked delicious cakes and were there to help us with everything along the way. Perugia and Assisi are day trips.

“Great place, very comfortable, good location to explore the area”

Spacious comfortable apartment, bathroom seems new, equipped kitchen. For breakfast you receive basket with the goodies: cheese, sausages, jam, butter, yogurt, juice, raw eggs, homemade cake and more. There is a spacious garden with the tables and chairs, pool is pretty big.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fattoria Il Bruco. The staff was really friendly, providing us with a lot of information about Umbria, where to go, where to eat and also taking time for our toddler and showing him the farm animals. I really recommend this location.

“Friendly and relaxing oasis”

Nice and quiet location, outstanding hosts, exceptionally clean and very well decorated apartment. We have enjoyed the freshly baked cakes and children activities involving feeding and caring for the farm animals. We found our favourite as I'm sure you will easily find yours :) Hope to be back one day :)

Very nice. The location is in a quite place and at a distance from the busy streets. Perfect to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet that the area offers. The place is exquisite, the hosts are wonderful and the breakfast is good with different cakes every day , and a variety of cheeses/salami etc. At New Year's Eve we were also surprised with a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy the evening... Definitely worth every penny spent there. The area is exceptionally nice. Will definitely return...

Super nice hosts, cute animals (the goat with the twisted horns was the star) - kids could walk around and see the animals and even feed them in accordance with the owner, cosy and well equipped apartment, delicious homemade cakes, short drive to great restaurants. Thanks for a lovely weekend at your farm!
