“Amazing room and host!”

Maria was such an excellent host! She organised to pick us up from the airport and drop us off at the ferry port early in the morning which was very helpful. Her place is very clean and comfortable and was exactly what we needed. We will hopefully be back one day!

Maria was amazing, she picked me up from the ferry, even though I was late she didn’t mind, she let me stop at the ATM to get cash, the room was immaculate, the dinner she cooked was exceptional and so generous. She even offered me lemonade she made from lemons she grew herself! The room was immaculate and had excellent ammenities like a TV and aircon. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Athens! The only thing that could have made it better was getting to stay longer!!

“Absolutely perfect if you have an early flight!”

The host, Maria, was there to greet me when I arrived. She gave me a full tour of the space and handed the keys to me, even showing me how to lock the door. She was very responsive on WhatsApp, making sure that she would be there to greet me - I arrived at 10pm. She even offered me home-made lemonade which was delicious! The space is lovely, and is like a fully contained apartment with a decent sized shower room and all the amenities one might need. The space was very clean and tidy and looked much bigger then the photos on Booking.com. And though you can hear the planes flying at night, with a decent pair of ear-plugs you should have no trouble falling asleep. I had requested an early morning transfer to the airport which costed 20euro - I did find this a little steep, (An Uber might have been cheaper) but well worth it as it was completely hassle free and convenient.

“Which experience with wonderful home cooked food”

The property itself was fantastic with great facilities. Maria was fantastic and the food she provided was absolutely amazing. I would come back to Greece to just be able to stay with her again, I felt extremely well taken care of but given my own space to decompress. 10/10 recommend staying here and getting Maria to cook some food for you! I loved my time here very much.

Before we even left home Maria contacted us with a detailed menu we could choose from. On arrival in Athens a Google maps link was waiting on my phone to guide us to her place. Thoughtful and much appreciated. Studio was nice, clean and quiet and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, but..

“Great,”

I mostly liked the hostess - Maria. She picked me up from the airport very early in the morning and also drove me back for a fee of 40 Euro. Due to the fact that her room is a bit hard to get to in public transportation, she was available to take me when and wherever I wanted - free of charge. She recommended a lovely restaurant on the beach which turned out to be fabulous. Maria is a kind and generous woman - this made my short stay especially enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable and had all necessary facilities. Loved it!

“Greek hospitality at its finest!”

A warm welcome from the host, clean and tidy room, only a 15min drive from the airport, transfer from/to the airport no matter if late at night or early in the morning. Thanks for the accomodation and the practical solutions to my overnight stay!

The room was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfy. The owner was very friendly and picked me up from the airport and dropped me the next morning at the port (+40 euro).

It was very convenient to be near the airport. Maria is an excellent host.

Maria picked me up from the airport which was so convenient and great value for money. As a lone traveller, as soon as Maria stepped out of the car, I just felt like I was meeting an old friend. I had pre-booked dinner at Maria's and I am so glad I did, best moussaka I have ever had! Wonderful Greek salad with local feta cheese and olive oil from Maria's groves, homemade lemonade was delicious (although wines and beers were also on the menu), bring a lunchbox - the portion was huge. The setting for dinner was sublime, out on my little porch surrounded by olive groves. The studio room is also totally private, located at a slight remove from Maria's home. The room is large, well equipped, with a kitchenette and fridge, Maria has thought of everything (hairdryers etc). Instant hot water, very clean, comfy bed. And Maria dropped me back to the airport for 5am. I just wish I knew about Maria's Home Near the Airport years ago. I will be recommending this stay to all my friends.

“Room Near The Airport”

Very close to the airport. It was a cosy room. We opted for evening meal and breakfast. Also transfer to the airport. It gave us a relaxing evening close to the airport, saving all the rushing about when heading home.

Room was clean and tidy, Maria ,our host was very helpful and lovely, We opted for optional dinner at extra cost which was good quality and tasty. She offered us pick up and drop off from airport which we decided not to go for but I would next time as it would have been cheaper and easy for us.

“Perfect for a layover stay near the airport”

Maria is so friendly, she picked me up from the airport and prepared me a great meal! Not to forget, she helped me to improve my Greek! 😇

Everything was great! The room was clean , the bed comfortable and the hostess very kind and helpful! Having the transfer from and to the airport was very helpful and the price was affordable!
